    I wonder if N'Doye joining Sunderland on a 6 month loan is an indication of something happening with Fletcher.
    I wanted him in the summer and would still take him now.

    Hearing its not happening for us. Getting offered almost 3x what he'd get here from China. Before we slag the club for that, I heard we offered around 20-25k a week. Celtic still made a strong offer, move on the next target. I'll put Jason Cummings in every post I make till it gets done...

    Looks like Fletcher set to sign a pre contract worth £22k a week and heavily incentive based contract! Should be in papers over next 2 days!

    2 year deal with Celtic holding a 1 year option.

    Fletcher - whose contract expires at the end of the season - has offers from two Chinese clubs, but is set to his boyhood team instead


    Steven Fletcher is set to reject a mega-money switch to China and seal a move to Celtic, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

    Sunderland's striker has sizable offers on the table from the Far East but is shunning them to play for his boyhood favourites.

    Fletcher is out-of-contract at the end of the current campaign and both Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou R & F have enquired after the Wearsiders' hitman.

    Both are prepared to offer wages above his £3m-a-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

    But Celtic are offering an incentive-based contract after opening talks with his representatives.
