That guy from derby that replaced Fletcher should start for yous, he looks really strong and took a lot of attention away from other players.

Very honest and on the ball analysis.

It was not a game that was pleasing on the eye but brilliant to watch, end to end stuff, thought it was played like a play off game.

Scotland deserved the three points. Expect the same back in Ireland.

I didn't know that and if you went to the trouble of looking at my profile, you'd see that I haven't posted on here a 100 times. So it's not like I spend all of my time scowering these boards.

Nah, Dublin's alright. I meant 'being there' will be beautiful, rather than the look of the place, besides. :56::50:

Yeah I cannot be bother with the Aidan thing anymore. I wouldnt want a player who doesnt want to play for us anyway. I hope both sets of fans stop focusing on him in the Dublin game.

Your too down on your own city. Dublin has a lot of really nice buildings IMO. I think though people should avoid that Templebar tourist trap. Its grim unless you want to go to Ireland to meet pished cockneys

Two below average sides in a match the could easily have gone either way.

The only difference between the dire was a bit of (unfortunately rare) magic from Maloney.
Fact was for 15 minutes before that Scotland looked absolutely clueless, Commentator was correct when he remarked that Scotland did not look like they knew how or wanted to win it.

All the build up and B$ is destined to lead to disappointment, for when reality sinks in, the stark reality is neither side are capable of beating a average European side in any final group stage, let alone win it.

Irelands best player was someone in the shire horse defence.
Scotland's best was Naismyth who is unlikable for being a player who is constantly looking to cheat advantage.
Ironic and sad as he is potentially a quality player without all that cheating, maybe he knows he needs to act the * as those around him are not up to the mark.

MON was a bit biased in his summary of the game IMO. He made out as if both sides had been equally scrappy. TBH the game was exactly how I thought it would be with Scotland playing the better passing game but the Irish very disciplined and hard to break down

It's good to see the TC bragging rights, stay exactly where they belong. In bonny Scotland.
