We have got ourselves in a * position. We may end up turning down >10m bids for VVD because we don't have any CB in place to sign as a replacement. We should be signing two good CBs and punting VVD (on top of the obvious signing of a ST).

For our season not to be a disaster we needed:

1 Young, promising CB (ie. Scholz)
1 Big bastart Midfielder (ie. wanyamas cousin or something)
1 * who hits the ball into the net (ie. That serbian *)
1 Left back who isny pish (ie. Robertson)


Instead,
we got a Villa reject, A 'Jo Inge Burger' and wee Wakaso - who I have hope for.

 

It can be more difficult to buy players on deadline day unless their club wants to offload them. Some clubs would hold out for more money though if they don't need to sell. Lets hope we can get lucky.

Not really expecting anything so even one signing would be a bonus.
