according to the polish media, they put article 20> „All disciplinary measures may be suspended, with exception of: a) warning; b) reprimands; c) bans on all football-related activities; d) disciplinary measures related to match-fixing, bribery and corruption”
as one of the possible option in the appeal

Its just a goodwill of uefa, if they let us back in knowing it causes a lot of mess with the play off games, or will chose safe option and send us to lausanne (bet the 2nd option)

So, hold on, Kuciak told Bereszynski to make sure he checks that he has actually served his suspension, because he had seen a similar case at his old club Vaslui. Then, Bereszynski contacts the club hierarchy about this and they tell him he's grand and everything is sorted?

    * * that is pathetically * on behalf of Legia's staff. Surely with Bereszynski bringing it up, someone could have taken 5 minutes of their time to double check the rules if they were unsure instead of just going, "nah, mate you're sweet, don't worry about it." :smiley-laughing002:

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Kazakhstan actually is in Asia, they just play in European competition :smiley-laughing002:.

Think only the far west of the country is considered Europe, vast majority is in Asia.

    Right enough :56:.

"...if any club fall short of any of these rules and regulations, the match will be forfeited 3-0 and a pending banishment, if possible, to Kazakhstan awaits the club who fail to adhere."

Would love for it to be announced during the Saints game tonight just so we can hear the away support going mental as if it was another Helicopter Sunday:50: (Assuming we get the correct verdict of course)

Why do we think they're talking a whole day and next morning to decide? Is this normal?

    I'm not picky.
This is it in a nutshell. The way they have carried on with this is ridiculous, and it looks like they are just trying to rally their argument on sympathy rather than actual rules.

Bereszynski was not registered for the St. Pat's tie, so how could a player serve a ban for a competition tie if he's not registered for it? I just don't see how hard it is for Legia to not understand that.

I've said it before that if UEFA allow Legia back in then it sets a precedent for other teams to do the exact same thing with a player who's been suspended. It will say a lot for the sport if Legia were allowed back in after breaking the rules.

More chance of Celtic signing Messi than it being overturned.

Ludogorets would be raging too, considering they would have been seeded if Legia went through but ended up unseeded and drew Steaua Bucharest.

    Informations from Legia's side:
Attorneys provided all the arguments UEFA need to legally change the decision. Now it's up to the good will of UEFA. Basically, last week UEFA said that they are trying to find loopholes not to disqualify Legia. Now they have been provided those loopholes and everybody is waiting to see whether they were speaking the truth or just bullshitting.

I, personally, believe it may be a case if in the rules about suspension it says 'player is not to be fielded in the competitions under UEFA for ....number of games'. Then article 18.4 contradicts with 18.1 and deicison can be easily overturned. Again, I just have no time to look up the wording of rules about suspension.
