For me to get us into the champions league groups we need a new centre half, a proper holding centre mid who can break the game up, two quick wingers and a big target man type if player.

But I don't think we are gonna get any of them or maybe a pointless loan deal again.

The tactic Ronny is employing falls down in midfield. The tactic itself is solid, the main issue is the lack of a defensive midfielder who can read the play, has pace and strength and can pass the ball. Without the core midfielder the rest is folly.

Target man/striker, the crosses in are not threatening with stokes or pukki up front and they don't have the pace to go over the top. A left winger go genuine craft and pace is essential and a true no 10 who can create in the hole would be a great find. A dominating centre half who reads the game and has a turn of pace and good decision making qualities. A left back to compete with Izzy who is off his game a bit. How's that for starters? Lol

Finnybhoy . Back from your boys scouts camp. I thought you had gone on a huff when the man you described as been very intelligent got rid of your acquaintance Tony .
Having an intelligent brain like Deila who do you think we will sign. ?

Everything I've talked about has been near enough bang on the money, unlike you spouting tripe continually.

Wingers almost a redundant position these days.

If that's the way Ronny wants to play then we need them. Sicknote Derk Boeriggter and tbh so is Forrest very injury prone are not the answers.

Colin Mcmanaman from Wigan perhaps but we need them in.

I think it's more important now than at any other time in the last few years.

I think we should but Scottish talent and there are good players going south for little money. There seems to be a reluctance by Celtic to do this however. I would take a chance on Stevie May if hes still available.

We have a very good backline, regardless of the scores recently.

We have no midfielders to control a match, hence the pressure we end up with.

We lack midfielders to create, whether that be through passes or skill.

    We lack ball winners.

We really don't know if any strikers have the ability to score without the above, unless the forward line movement is poor.

If we keep Virgil, Ambrose, Izzy, Matthews and Lustig, we have 5 very good international class defenders with Forster in goal.

We need Brown back for his dig and composure. Sorry but Johansen ain't proved anything yet. Biton lacks intelligence and Mulgrew ain't a midfielder.

So in my view we need another two all round midfielders. One if Johansen proves his worth.

Middle-up, we must keep Commons and find another midfielder with a creative spark.

Up front, we are in dire need of an all-rounder. We need to find a player willing to come to us that has maybe has to cost us a few bob per week. One of three top earners for fans and players to get inspiration from.

    ------------Forster/Gordon-----------

    Adam/Lustig-----Efe----Virgil-----Izzy

    -----Brown----Johansen----*Another*

    -----Commons-------*Another*

    --------------*Another*------

We can keep two strikers as back up with Mulgrew as back up for left back/centre back/midfield(sparingly)

The rest can be our youth used as rotation and development.

In my eyes, that is not asking a * of a lot as a fan, hardly a major overhaul.

    Investment of 12-13million.

I have a bad feeling we've made some strange agreement with the other teams to not take their best players.

May, Gauld, Robertson, Mackay-Stevens, have we seriously not bid for any of these guys?

I had a feeling of this, kinda like not diluting the opposition but that would contradict those clubs then selling to teams other than us.

    Armstrong and Gauld baffle me

gaulds dahh basically made the choices. He wants his son to develop and not end up like other players in Scottish football. For all we know, Celtic enquired but got a behind the doors "no"

u never know. Especially with Celtic being very discreet with their dealings.

Your main claim to fame was that the very intelligent Ronnie Deila would would have your mate banging in the goals for Celtic by the start of August .
Even the night before Watt was deported , you were saying he wasn't gone yet .
Then you went away and huffed for a couple of weeks .
I wouldn't like to depend on what you have said to make money .

Sign a ST who is capable of playing in Europe.
    Sign a direct Winger.
Sign an athletic box to box CM.
    Sign a solid CDM.
Sign a Big tough * CB.
Sign an up and coming GK.

Need to sell a few first, before we can fill all of these needs though.

I'd like Armstrong, reminds me of O'Donnell in his prime with tha engine of his. Although I can't see Utd selling him till next season, maybe even sign him and loan him back.
    GM Steven i'dblike too.
And id take May and sell Stokes.

Add a keeper and take Sharp out for a target man and that would be a great window.
