I always say this but I think Russian teams would do better in Europe if they played all their games away from home, they always seem to be utter * at home. Yet they do quite well away.

I think their own home stadiums are just so dour and barren that away teams going there are well relaxed.

Wonder what the odds would have been for Chelsea draw, City defeat, Arsenal draw and Liverpool defeat

4th biggest club in Italy imo. In terms of big clubs Man City would be lucky to be in top 8 in England.

Those City "superstars" know it's a sham, Man City as a club are no bodies, a soulless * wee club with no history, even the fans know that- they were giving away tickets for this game tonight, hilariously pathetic.

Said it for a while, but considering the money that Man City have spent, they don't have a that a great team. They are a complete embarrassment when it comes to Europe.

Succeeding in the CL takes a great deal of time. City, to their defense, have been either champions or challenging for the title for the last 5 years. They're getting there. I'm less than convinced about their managers, but we'll see. I'd love to see one of the Manchester sides appoint someone like Bielsa and see what happens. He'd leave either to greatness.

I know money doesn't always guarantee success mate, but c'mon, with the cash they have forked out over the years, they have been embarrassing on the European stage. I'm not sure how you can argue that they are getting there either, because they have gotten worse this year than last. They have went backwards. They are miles behind the top teams. For me, they have got 2 maybe 3 genuine world class players. Kompany, Aguero & perhaps Silva, and that's it I would say. Guys like Milner, Demichelis, Fernandinho, in my opinion, aren't good enough if they have any aspirations of winning the tournament.

Man City need to ditch the 4-4-2 system it dosen't suit there style the midfield is left to exposed there is also a lack of work rate and togetherness in there team and they seem content just to sit back and let other teams dictate the game in europe the manager has to demand more imo, I think Simeone would be the perfect fit for them.

Aye, you can't play with a 4 man midfield and have Yaya Toure in it.

Spent hunners of millions and absolutely kack, yet all we hear is 'they don't get easy groups'.. Give me strength(the money they've spent and the best league there winning)..

Aguero and silva are there only 2 world class players in my opinion kompany has turned into a liability for quite some time..

They have zero creativity when silva is out and carry untold mediocrity in there 11 and yes that includes toure, scored a free kick but is a spare man, no fight, gives it away constantly then goes back to walking pace and does his usual loss of the head..
Milner is a total dud who gives you legs and thats it..

Best league in the world my * * as has been proved again this week..

Kompany might be getting made to look worse with Demichelis beside him. They have to defend a lot deeper when he plays, as he has no pace whatsoever, and any ball in behind him would cause problems.

Could be but still for a guy of gist pedigree he's getting caught out in behind, coming out in to no mans land and much more rash in the challenge than ever before..

Is there a game city lose when he doesn't confront the ref at full time? I've yet to see one, comes across an * the way he does that big i am..

I think Kompany's trying to take on too much responsibility. Make sure he does his job first and foremost, and go nuts at the players who aren't doing there's, that's what he should do. Right now he does seem rash.
