WWE showing the clip of Sting beating Hulk Hogan at WCW Starrcade two weeks ago on RAW was an intentional reference to Hogan. Vince McMahon reportedly realizes that totally washing Hogan and his accomplishments away from WWE history is impossible as his legacy is too great.

With the heat dying down and the smoke starting to clear, it still appeared WWE was cold to Hogan after his recent media tour. While it will likely be a long time before we see Hogan on WWE TV again, the company is expected to start warming up more to him in the next few months.

There has also been internal rumors of some Hogan merchandise going back up soon, which would be a big step.

Sting on his match with Seth Rollins

On working with Seth Rollins at the PPV:

The biggest pleasure. I’m honored. After 30 years and working with some of the best and some of the greatest, [Rollins] is, I’m telling you, he’s got to be the best I’ve ever worked with. I mean, this guy has it. And I think he’s just scratching the surface on what he will do. I’ve never seen somebody as talented. He’s working two [matches] on Raw, two [matches] on the pay-per-view, he’s involved in every other segment and it’s physical. He’s got guys coming from every angle. There’s a lot on his plate. He’s carrying a lot, and he’s handling it. He’s proven he can do it. I’m just glad I had a chance to work with him. He’s the kind of guy who could be in there with a broomstick and make something very interesting happen, a match that people would love somehow.

On the post-match conversation he had with Rollins:

Really, I can’t say enough. He poked his head in the ambulance and said, “Man, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened.” I said, “Seth, don’t worry about it. It’s not your fault.” And he, for 15 minutes, he said, “I just wanted to tell you what an honor it was, what a pleasure. I can’t believe I had a chance to get in the ring with you and work with you. I was you for Halloween when I was a kid.” He was on and on about it, but man, this young guy, he doesn’t have any idea how much I appreciate being able to work with him.

Amazed that they removed Hogan from the HOF section and essentially erased him from history for a racist remark years ago, yet they keep Sunny of all people in there, despite several DUIs and other incidents, not to mention whoring herself on Skype.

The best one is that they removed Hogan for a racist remark yet they still have convicted rapist Mike Tyson in there

    - We've noted how Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker was originally planned for WrestleMania 32 next year but plans changed and the feud is ending at * In a Cell next month. With Lesnar's limited dates being laid out in advance to allow him time to plan around them, his only scheduled date for October was the October 3rd live WWE Network special from Madison Square Garden.

It could be assumed WWE went with the hotshot booking for Taker and Lesnar to boost the next WWE Network subscriber count but * In a Cell won't be included in that announcement as the period ends September 30th.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon reportedly made the decision to end the Lesnar vs. Taker program at * In a Cell instead of WrestleMania because he feels it's time to end the feud and move both characters in new directions. With that said, there's still no word yet on who either man will be facing at WrestleMania 32 but it's been reported Lesnar will not be going up against The Rock or Steve Austin.
