Lana breaking up with Rusev in the WWE Universe to manage Dolph Ziggler has been a hot topic lately on the F4WOnline audio shows. Dave Meltzer, Bryan Alvarez and others are suggesting that Vince McMahon broke them up on-screen to facilitate a real-breakup, with Vince feeling that someone like Rusev shouldn’t be able to get a girl like Lana.

Tomorrow's RAW is in danger:

There has been a lot of speculation that Monday’s WWE RAW in Tampa, Florida may be in trouble due to Tropical Storm Erika making its way to the area. You may remember WWE was forced to broadcast RAW from their TV studios in Stamford in January of this year due to a blizzard. Regarding the event possibly being canceled, it is still currently scheduled and The Amalie Arena issued the following statement:

“Amalie Arena and our partners at WWE are aware of Tropical Storm Erika’s potential impact to our area in advance of WWE Raw on Monday, August 31. At this time, the event is not cancelled. However, we are keeping the storm top of mind. We will release any pertinent information as needed.”

- We noted before that The Amalie Arena in Tampa, site of Monday's WWE RAW, issued a statement on Tropical Storm Erika potentially forcing them to cancel RAW. Weather.com reports that the National Hurricane Center declared Tropical Storm Erika dissipated near the coast of eastern Cuba at around 9:30am on Saturday.


Thunderstorms are still expected and there is some concern for flooding but all area watches and warnings have been lifted, according to TampaBay.com. It looks like Monday's RAW with Sting in the opening segment will go on as planned.

- WWE announced the following:

“WWE released Zahra Schreiber due to inappropriate and offensive remarks she made that were recently brought to out attention.”

Zahra is the girlfriend to WWE World Heavyweight Champion and United States Champion Seth Rollins, the same NXT Diva involved in the nude photo scandal several months back.

She was in the news this weekend due to controversial swastika photos and comments that fans uncovered that she had previously deleted from social media. This is why she has been released. She just debuted as the “sister” of Solomon Crowe this weekend at a NXT live event.

 

- The Gulfport Police Department issued the following in regards to the arrest of TNA star Bram (Thomas Latimer):

Professional Wrestler Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Date: 8/31/15

Gulfport, FL—On 8/30 at approximately 6:00 AM, officers responded to a call about a disturbance in an apartment at 3205 58th Street South. There they encountered Thomas R. Latimer and a woman who identified herself as his girlfriend.

The officers observed evidence indicative of a physical altercation, and their investigation revealed that, after the couple had been arguing, the woman felt threatened and sought refuge in her bedroom.

Latimer followed her into the bedroom, closed the door, and refused to allow her to leave. He then pushed the woman onto the bed and was holding her down by her neck.

Latimer, who is a wrestler with TNA Impact Wrestling, was charged with domestic battery by strangulation and false imprisonment. Both are felony charges, and he is currently being held in the Pinellas County Jail.








- As noted, TNA announced today that Bram, husband to WWE Diva Charlotte, has been arrested and suspended indefinitely until the situation was resolved.

Bram was arrested on Sunday in Gulfport, Florida at 8:30am and charged with one count of domestic battery by strangulation and one count of false imprisonment. He was arrested at a condo in the area.

He's currently in jail and awaiting his court date. No word yet on bond




TNA has been advised by the Gulfport, Florida Police Department that Thomas Latimer, known as Bram, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and false imprisonment. TNA is working to gather facts and obtain additional information related to the arrest.

“The charges against Thomas Latimer are serious, and he is immediately and indefinitely suspended from any future TNA-sanctioned events awaiting the outcome of the case,” said TNA Executive Vice President of Television and Talent John Gaburick.
