I wonder what excuse the Manchester United fans will use this weekend to defend Van Gaal :smiley-laughing002:

They're still blabbering on about his supposed 'philosophy'.

Moyes would have been hunted and battered if he got the results Van Gaal has gotten.

    Everton too.

It's been tight this season, was thinking it looking at their table a few days ago that so many teams as you mention have had very poor starts yet they are still near the top, although 4th place is only 6 points off 18th place.

Liverpool especially, you compare them to last season and they've been nowhere near as good yet they are above Arsenal, Man U, Everton and Tottenham which shows how bad theyve been. They are even only 4 points off Man City in 2nd. Mourinho must be relaxed as * this season.

I was going to say this earlier. The league is weaker this season compared to last. Chelsea are obviously extremely strong, but in terms of finishing in a top 4 place, it has been made a lot easier for Van Gaal due to Liverpool, Arsenal & Everton all being poorer this season so far.

Why did Liverpool loan out Origi? what a * theyve made of theirselves.

Watching him against Everton and I seen him a couple of weeks ago too in a game, cant mind who against and he looks class. Has a style of play somewhere bewteen Sturridge and Sterling and you could see them 3 being great together.

Think that was the only way they could get him tbh was by promising Lille they could have him on loan for another season, if I was Rodgers though I would be doing all I could to get him back in January guy is a talent

Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes could join Manchester United in January after being invited to train with Louis van Gaal's squad as he steps up his rehabilitation from a knee injury that kept him out of the World Cup.
Valdes tore his anterior cruciate ligament against Celta Vigo in March and missed the rest of the season, as well as Spain's miserable World Cup campaign in Brazil.
The 32-year-old, who has spent his entire senior career at Barcelona, left the Catalonia club in the summer and had been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool where Simon Mignolet has endured a difficult start to the season.
However, Van Gaal has now given Valdes the chance to complete his rehabilitation at United and work his way back to fitness.
The club confirmed Valdes's recovery will now be supervised by United's medical staff before he begins training with the first team ahead of a possible permanent move to Old Trafford in January.

Really like West Ham this season. Big Sam has then playing well. Knew a goal was coming.

Valencia awkwardly had to jump into the Man City fans with his momentum there and looked like Amalfitano went over as if it was the West Ham fans ready to jump in. Think he was just checking on Valencia though!

West Ham's chant 'Forever blowing bubbles', is perhaps the most gayest anthem i've every heard. The lyrics are bad enough, but the fact they blow bubbles just takes the biscuit.

Aguero should of been sent off for this tackle on Mark Noble. There's going to be a red card in this game I think.

If City lose this and Chelsea beat United tomorrow, the league is Chelsea's they just will have to big of a lead.
