So why have we tended to come into form domestically after Christmas in each of the last 3 seasons?

Most spl teams a have a fraction of our budget and the majority have a better defence than ours at present

He cant get that right so we can't even think about moving forward

I'd never want us to lose, if we do lose I'd want him sacked though but I've wanted that a few times this season.

Was thinking the same, previous poster had a very similar take on our "fraud" of a manager

It depends on the circumstances of the loss , if we batter them for 90 mins and lose then that's life sometimes.

Thats a fair point.......but maybe after x amount of games, they started to click as a team, morale goes up etc, and they enjoy each others company and playing well.
The hangover from Europe has passed, and they are looking to win these cups. The onset of spring is in the air, and everyone is in a better frame of mind.:smiley-laughing002:

Oops, deleted image. Thanks for the tip anonymous Pimpernel.Forgot they were frowned upon! :fear:

In all seriousness, i really would love us to only buy foreign players as a last resort....or because they are special.
Nothing xenophobic about it, i just feel it means more to local players.

Spot on. The way some people bend over backwards making excuses for this dud is laughable. They let the fact that Ronny is a pleasant guy cloud their judgement. I know loads of nice guys, I wouldn't let them manage celtic.

We're buying the best Scottish players available to be fair. They're either being played out of position, in poor form or not being played - or all of the above if you're Scott Allan.

Most SPFL teams have a better defence than ours? Where do you start when this is the level of argument.

This is why I take a break from the site and will probably do so again. Utter spectacular nonsense.

Wingers buy wingers don't put an attacking mid on the wing or a striker buy wingers.

    Forrest
    Mackay-Steven
    Derk
    Nesbitt

4 wingers 2 who don't even play compared to

    Rogic
    Commons
    Armstrong
    Christie
    Johansen
    Allan
    Mcgregor

    All competing for 1 place

    changed my opinion

i wouldn't let him have another go at the champions league maybe if another head coach came in to job share, a much more experienced guy.

ronny probably wouldn't accept this anyway

its not entirely his fault as ive said before a few times the board and the constant selling of our best players and replacing them with players that aren't anywhere near the previous standard

but overall the team is going backwards and ronny is not going to change the fortunes he is managing a decline and as a result letting the board of the hook

i still think we will win the premiership and would be reluctant to let him go just now, unless the team form completely collapsed, however, bringing in a new guy would be just too dangerous to our hopes of winning the league and the possibility of ruining our champions league qualification spot

Oh *, now that Tim Time has put the thought in my head you do actually resemble him :smiley-laughing002:

I have no idea what type of guy Ronny is. Seems a bit moody to me. Mind you that was Chris Sutton he was being interviewed by.

So no, it's got nothing to do with him being a nice guy. I don't really care what folk are like unless they're really unpleasant then you don't want them at your club but other than that, I'd rather not find out what kind of personalities our staff have off the pitch.

Shame that the last few local players we've bought haven't been up to it.
