Ronny has got to the end of the year to turn this around. That was made clear to him at the emergency meeting he had over the weekend with some of the board. He will not be in the hot seat after 2015 if there has been no significant improvement That's the crux of the matter. It's over to him now

I have a different thought on this. Just maybe Lawell is making this interesting so that when The Rankers come up, so does the money? Lawell gambled on us getting CL money and it just is not happening. Does anyone ever think that in years gone by Celtic and Rangers fixed their results and trophies.......people may think this is mad of me even to suggest this...So maybe Ronnie is just another * in the game........................

The details that have went public is it wasn't so much a 'meeting' or never mind an emergency one.

    More a quiet word.

Lads there was a meeting on Sunday. It has been mentioned as well in other media outlets. It's not a secret.

They are not going to give all the details to the public in regards to what on in Sunday. U can tell as well from Ronny's own press release from yesterday that discussions took place.

Just on this as well, I see our scouts were out watching a Malmo defender.

Looks like it's the way he wants to work, players that catches his eye rather than the scouts looking for the gems.

    Simunovic was the same.

The 'nothing to see here' thing your referring to is just having faith in a manger who has done nowhere near as bad as people are making out and actually done reasonably well all things considered, as in context.
The season is still very young, were still in Europe, although CL exit and start to the proper season has been really disappointing but to be so fire and brimstone about it is excessive. What were trying to do takes time. It's not all plain sailing. We have to back the manager, if we're not we're giving up. The media are all over this *, it's embarrassing. Once we get a few more games into the season and all the regular players are in their positions playing regularly we will start doing better and better, I'm sure of it.
To say there's been no progress since he came in is churlish and disingenuous. We've just had an understanbly slow start. But the team clearly didn't do well enough in the important games so far, they'll know that.

What is it we're trying to do though? We have already over previous season churned out a reasonable number of youth players into the first team with varying degrees of success. We are already a club that aims to buy talented young players and sell them on for a profit. What is it that Ronny has been brought in to do that is so entirely different from what we've already been doing to varying degrees since Strachan?

What is the progress you speak of?

How many SLOW starts do we need? Why are we starting off slow? What is the Root Cause of this?

Its because we wait every year to see if we will qualify for the Champions League before we spend.

When we comfortably outspend the teams that are putting us out, how much do you think we need to spend extra until it becomes unacceptable for us to do so?

Like, we're about 10 times the budget of Malmo and Maribor, how much should we reasonably expect to be spent before we have a team quality enough to beat these minnows?

Malmo were 2/3 through their domestic season and we had a make shift defence.
