"Mackay-Steven ran a phenomenal 1300 metres against Aberdeen"

What? :56: I think Ronny said '13 hundred' in his interview when he must have meant 13km. Bit of common sense from the author and they would have realised 1300 would be covered in about 5-10 minutes :smiley-laughing002:

Edit: they mean he covered 1300m sprinting.. Carry on :52:

I have never found myself agreeing with what a manager says as much in my life. Almost anything Deila has said since he came to the club has been spot on, with regards to how football should be played, and the club as a whole.

I am delighted it's really started to manifest itself on the pitch in the last 2-3 months and everyone is behind him now and can see what he is doing.

Haven't posted on here since Ronny went to you guys, so thrilled to see that you are now starting to have the same affection for him as we had in Drammen!

I was a bit scared that some rash action would be taken as results didn't go as well in the first few months. Knew that Ronny's high pressing, high intensity football would take some time to settle. Looks good now though, and if Celtics progression follows the same path as at Strømsgodset, well you have some "sexy football" to look forward to for the next couple of seasons!

Just wanted to comment on the worries that "bigger clubs" might come in if results and football continue to improve. Ronny stayed at Godset for maybe 3-3,5 years after reaching fame in Norway. He had his plans and wanted them seen out. Every time one of the bigger clubs needed a new manager, Ronnys name got mentioned in the tabloids. Every time Ronny was quoted saying; "I will never leave Strømsgodset for another Norwegian club". It's like he is saying in the recent press-conference that one of the attributes he strives for along with humble and respectful, is loyal. Even Rosenborgs 5-6 times bigger budget were not tempting enough to change this.

I think Ronny has big plans both short and long term for Celtic, and he will do his utmost to see them through. The only way I can see Ronny leave in the next few years is if you sack him.

Good luck for the rest of your season, go get that treble!

    That's spot on.

I could listen to him talk about football, and even just life, all day. He is a total class act.

Bad result, but out of the coming games, I'd rather this be the pig in the poke.

We should beat Utd anyway, they are absolute fkn rank, at least St Johnstone are half decent.

Not his fault tonight, players just looked *.

Tonight is still a wake up call though in terms of the depth of the squad, I hope to * he is given funds in the summer.

Still going to win the treble, hope he shoves it in Hartson and Sutton's faces.

Good clear out of the dead wood in the summer (Stokes, Forrest, McGregor, Borreigter) and a few good signings next season and we'll really see the Ronny Deila Celtic take shape.
