Thinking it'll be Lambert is just as mental. Why would he leave Villa to come to us, especially if Lennon has deemed the budget too small to move forward?

I hope when he's helping to pick a replacement he keeps the CL/Europa League in mind. We have qualifiers in just over a month so this mess needs to get sorted asap.

Would be one of my worst options out of all named so far despite the fact I like his style on ITV.

Malky, Lambert or Moyes would be all good but Zola would be my top choice if any way he is in the frame. Anyone nurtured by Maradona has to be top of anyone's list.

Its saying he wont rule himself on ssn now. I believe its a good time to come, one of the best squads we have had for a few years and not much domestic compatition so he would have time to build his team

    A * picking another *. Unsurprising.

Roy Keane would be a shocking appointment. World class player, * manager.

Was he ever linked with SSN?

All the candidates so far reek of Mowbray-ness. Thank * there are no more Huns.
although if we get pumped out of the qualifiers it's going to be one long, * season.

Really hope Larsson doesn't get the job. He's my all time favourite player and don't want him to tarnish his legendary status here by taking a job he's not ready for.

I've voted for Malky Mackay, did a great job at getting Cardiff promoted and I think he was making a real good go of keeping them up before he was sacked, also think he comes across really well in the media too.

Why all the negativity towards Owen Coyle? He did a great job at Burnley and would be a success up here, given the budget we are likely to be operating from, no doubt about it. Too many people are making a deal about him turning down the Celtic job when he was at Burnley. He had just got his club promoted and wanted a crack at the Premier league with them so he turned us down, what's so bad about that?

Also what about Vitor Pereira? Done very very well with Porto, now wasting away in UAE with Al-Ahli. Likes to play possession football and seems a clever fella.

He's just left them has he not? Seems totally * up these days that we never look beyond ex players.

Doesn't matter though, any set backs we face with any new manager...we will take on the chin.
