Hi guys, I was just looking for some advice about living in Edinburgh. I just got a new job and I'm moving there in about a month.

My work is out by Edinburgh park so I'd like to live somewhere which is convenient for work but also good for getting into the city centre.

If anyone knows any good areas or just as important places to avoid that'd be great!

I was the opposite, couldn't stand Edinburgh. Although it's a nicer place I didn't like the nightlife.

Cannae really go Edinburgh. If I was you I would base myself round the Haymarket Station area, handy for trains, buses and the occasional tram.

Used to live in Stockbridge. Nice part of town with plenty of bars and restaurants and only about a 15 minute walk into the city centre.

    Hmm.

At least it's near Celtic Park.

I know a few who haven't enjoyed it and I've had some bad experiences in that area myself.
