Do you sense the Liverpool fans are starting to experience the same feelings we did

Back in 1998 I remember the nervousness and the agony of being so close to winning our first title in nine years and stopping Oldco Rangers doing 10 in a row.

In the end of we did it, nobody will forget the outburst of relief and joy as Larsson and Brattback sealed the win in the final day of the season against St Johnstone to finally win the League title after nine long years.

You can tell the Liverpool fans are experiencing the same feelings after going over 20 years without winning the League. They will of course be delighted that they are in a position to win it but the last few games are going to be very nervous and emotional for them.

The only team I support is Celtic but good luck to them, I hope they win it.

Can remember back then. I was still sure we weren't going to win it even going into the St Johnstone game. Winning just wasn't a habit that we had. * me how times have changed. Night and day since back then, * love it, embrace every second of it while it lasts.

Don't give a toss who wins it but after seeing Gerrard crying on the pitch last Sunday, I hope they * it up. Was John Terryesque.

 

I remember the day well...not ashamed to say the missus came in from shopping in town and i was crying with happiness and more relief to be honest and it capped a great year when Cliftonville also won the Irish league

 

I'm actually getting to the stage where I want Chelsea to win it.... initially wanted City, but they've * up now.

I * despise Chelsea as an institution, their fans, their lack of history, their poor atmosphere, their scumbag players and above all Mourinho..... but * me Liverpool fans are just beyond unbearable. I hope we see a Mourinho masterclass at Anfield and Liverpool bottle it the *!

Guy I know was up from Merseyside a few weeks back, Celtic fan who moved there a while back. He leans towards Everton, but said the Liverpool fans were getting annoying and cocky, being the big shot.

 

A bit harsh his cousin died in hillsborough and after all the memorials going on

 

Chelsea fans are scummy but they're the locals so I don't really have to deal with them. All the ones I know are ok.

Liverpool fans are such *. They annoy me on an almost daily basis.

I'm leaning towards Chelsea at the moment.

 

Couldn't give a * about Liverpool, their situation is nowhere near the same as ours in the spring of 1998. Liverpool didn't have their league destroyed by the most despicable * in world football.

 

Chelsea are scum. I hope they win * all, and anybody who stops them is ok with me.

Don't like Liverpool or Chelsea.

Although I don't mind Chelsea as much as some on here do. I lived fairly near Stamford Bridge for nearly 10 years and never had any major problem with them. Seemed like fans of any other club tbh. The big exception to that was the 'friendly' we had there a few years back, where every hun * came out to play. Never heard * * so many times in my whole life. But typically the fascist looking 'fans' were a much lesser minority than I expected. Most of them seemed like your typical plastic fans, kinda dumb and brash, but in passing they seemed largely on the level to me. I came across few who could have given a * about Celtic or Deadco. My dad was very weary of Chelsea when we moved near there, but these days he couldn't give a toss either way about them. but the reason I don't like Chelsea is that their football bores me to tears. Liverpool deserve it on the football they play.

 

If Liverpool don't win Stevie G will probably take it out on a few DJ's.
