Some cocky * who thinks they can sing but can't.
Some * with a hard luck story who stuns everyone.
Some old * and some young * that makes them go awwwwwwww.
Some * boring animal *.
Some dancing * that no one will ever pay to go and watch.

A possibly decent show, ruined by Simon Cowell spending too much time in America.

Obvious editing, meaning you know who is goin to be good and who is goin to be pish before they even start, camp hard luck stories, blatantly staged 'walk-ins and walk outs', where a camera 'just happens' to be there .. etc etc etc ..

Everything that is wrong with TV.

Shove it up yer *.

 

Funny you should say that, because I was saying to the wife when the first guy came on (owl boy) that he was going to be good because they had the whole back story.

Then I said to her, wouldn't it be funny if he was * and the whole back story was to throw you off the scent and mix it up a bit for this series?

sums it up for me- same old every year.

Somebody dancing with a dog, some annoying street dancing group, a older woman or man who's had a bit of hard luck who is a decent singer and this is there last chance, some wee toddler that can sing getting built up as the next big thing, only for us never to hear of them again etc etc etc

and last year the people that won it weren't even British!

the fact that this show is often on the front page of newspapers is just a sad reflection on society as well.

Don't watch it but thought the sentiment behind what these two guys were on about was heart warming. Makes me well up.
