It'll blow over quickly. A convincing win against Hearts will see to that.

    Agree (to an extent).

Have to remember getting to the group stages alone is a massive, massive achievement for us. Anybody who says otherwise is chasing * rainbows.

Yes we should always aim to progress, but come on we are up against the likes of Kaka and Balotelli, these are big game players. Yes AC have poor league form but they are steeped in the CL.

I am proud of what Celtic have achieved, however the manner in which we went out this year seemed to lack passion and fight.

    Crisis? Naw.

Tight * board? Yer * right.

I won't argue with that. Most young managers are probably the same. The power to demand comes with experience and a good CV.

You clearly don't know how this works.

Good signing - great vision by Lennon.

Bad signing - forced on Lennon by the dictator known as Peter Lawell.

Blade and Bangura were the first targets in what I would imagine is a long list who were deemed affordable and wanted to come.

Have to say I think Lennon and the powers that be are running the club pretty well. The three players that left all wanted out. We tried to get quality players but were turned down. We are on a sound footing unlike the other joke of a club.

Its not like the take money out of the club, as far as I know everything earned goes back into the club.

Although I'd love it if they managed to sign a top quality striker in January

Nobody needs to be sacked and nobody needs to be banned. Imo to largely sort it the board need to spend a decent amount like £5 million to get a quality player every now and then instead of solely relying on trying to find bargains. A lot of the debates about the Green Brigade happen after they do "controversial" displays, if they stop doing those displays then there would be a lot less arguments because of them.

Main thing that needs to happen though is we need to get a good striker, especially if we want to have European football again next season.

Probably get worse before it gets better,No easy fix,Lennon must know him self that there is issues with the squad ,the wrong type of players that are keeping the bench warm, the shower of * that under perform on a weekly basis And Lennon refuses to drop

The continuation of buying unknown and unproven players so that the board can hope to expect Future profits

The bill that criminalises football fans and the big bad GB that if PL got his way they would be gone tomorrow

Football in Scotland is very depressing at the minute.the SFA the government and the board
Are all partly to blame Some amount of hurdles to overcome to get this game back on track.

Don't expect it to be a quick fix.

The solution to the issues, green brigade can continue to do their displays at home league games but not uefa games as they are Breaking their com petition rules. If they persist doing it in the uefa games, they will continue to fine the club. Possibly might impose a ban for a season.
Board need to continue running the club in a break even policy, where all money made goes back into the club. Buy a marquee player each season if possible.
Fans need to take the shock if the result on the chin and realise the team and club has its limitations when competing in the champions league. It will be a couple more seasons of Lennon building before we can expect to be regularly getting into the last 16 each year.

i really don't think Lennon is sitting there accepting players that he does not want.
I would like to think He has the say on any player we sign for the first 15.
The scouts may point to players that are not ready and may not be for years and lennon may have very little say it that side of things.
Everyone one of us that has a job plays by the rules our employer sets so why should it be any different for Lennon.

well try and keep a hold of our best players would help and build a good side and squad around these players and think celtic can afford to bring one quality player to excite the fans and think we are not moving forward as a team if we keep selling our better players .:54:

We were lucky to survive Elfsborg and Karagandy so just getting there was a bonus. Sure you feel like * when you realise were not as good as last season but at least we got there and at least we wint have to play in that thursday competition

Would't call elimination out of Europe exactly a dark cloud. You always have to calculate that in before the season that you might not be in Europe anymore after the winter. (I think most European clubs do)
