Perhaps you could ask them to add it to the list.

    From Wikipedia

That is why I don't think it should be sung at a football game.

Regarding The Celtic Symphony as you said
That is what I meant by the words had been changed.

Huh no need to sound so surprised :smiley-laughing002:
Aye he has, but as said its the bill, that is at the root of it.
I am just surprised that the "vote" is not far more one sided.
Just hope come the farts game, tempers calm down.

Let the people sing, but only what what we say,
And no mention of the IRA
Their lullabies, but no battlecries, or songs that might offend
    Join us handwringers
All across this British land, bow down to the bigots all around
It is music, we deem, appropriate, for making us another pound

I understand now, you don't want Irish Rebel songs sung but you want Scottish rebel songs. I understand. You're a completely hypocrite and blindly ignorant.

Because of the way our club was made, our founding fathers sang * Save Ireland when they made us, Michael Davitt laid the first turf of grass at Celtic Park, De Valera presented us with the tri-colour that flies above the stadium - our club has been steeped in Republicanism and the Irish Struggle since it's very beginning. It was made for the Diaspora in Scotland, it was made for us to have a rallying point against the discrimination that endures to this day.

Why should 126 years of history be thrown away, denied and ignored because you don't like it? That is what Celtic is, that's what Celtic has always been, if you don't like it that is a conundrum in itself.

As I have also said it is fine to sing it at the national team matches due to it being seen as the national anthem, and as I have also said if it was sung during the middle of one of our games I would find it strange and out of place.

Not even going to take your last sentence seriously as it is ridiculous.

There should be no holding back on Sunday from any real Celtic fan. It would be nice if Celtic Symphony could be sung to completion too.

    Nothing mentioned IRA
This song was written in 1968 a year before the Provos were formed, if you didnt know the PIRA were formed in 1969.
We dont constantly sing songs about the RA either...
Bobby Sands has a special place in the hearts of many Celts.

I do not care for rebel songs, I think they are stupid and are not needed at football games.

I don't recall anybody telling you that you had to.

Here's a genuine question here btw for you or anyone else to answer:

IF certain people (lets just speak hypothetically and assume they attend matches) feel so strongly against the singing of Irish rebel songs or anything remotely to do with Ireland, why dont you get up off your * and sing songs at the game purely to do with the 11 guys on the pitch, or Peter Lawwell or tins of shortbread, or something more politically correct?
