Do you think the Home game against Aberdeen on 23rd should be postponed.
There are 2 International matches being played between Ross County away on 9th November and Aberdeen at Home on 23rd then we have the Home match against Milan.
A lot of our players will be playing in International friendlies before our Aberdeen match.
It would help the players get a decent rest before one of our most important matches of the season against Milan on the 26th November.

so 9th ross county v celtic 15th scotland v usa 19th norway v scotland 23rd celtic v aberdeen 26th celtic v milan

* yeah there should be a break it's our biggest game of the season and i don't want the team going in to the game against milan having played 3 games in 11 days and playing milan would be our 4th game in 14 days

the majority of our 1st team will play the celtic games as neil doesnt really use the squad and all the players will be off all around the world travelling with their countries

so its not just games its the travelling and weariness and the 3 days before each new big game

its too much before a make or break champions league tie that we must win

Players want to play, I never understand such postponments.

 

The money Celtic receive from playing in the champions league more than compensates for the fixture pile ups, we should be able to rest every first team player and still look to beat Aberdeen.

 

We have at least 20 superwondermega kids just waiting for the chance to become 90 million players.....we could put a whole team of them out for 2 months and still win the splflpfls.

its not really just the rest either its so the players and coaches can prepare and focus for a week on the milan game

The auld huns done that a few year back. Postponed home match v Gretna( could have beaten them with their reserves) so they would be fresh for deciding CL game v Lyon.

Ended up getting pumped 3-0, and also caused fixture congestion which assisted us in winning the league
