Was never going to be more than a bit part player, did very average at Saints last year also and best for both parties he moves on.

Enough squad players, we need competition not 'nice to have' as we have far too many of them.

He was one of their best players towards the end of the season. Had a poor start, right enough.

Good move for the lad, we already have Ralston coming through who can get any playing time that Fisher would have gotten.

Good move to be honest. Quick enough player and better on the ball than Janko for me..

Would've kept him (think he's a good wee player) but we've got enough in that department. Good level anyhow..

If fisher is off surely means another RB will be announced soon

5 weeks of playing 'decent' football for Saints wouldn't convince me he has anything to offer us long term as already filtered with too many average players boasting our squad numbers through the roof. Quality over quantity please, and IMHO Janko will offer much more than Fisher ever will especially in BR system.

Reckon he did alright in his handful of games for us, and he'll probably go on to have a decent enough career. We need to trim the squad though and he won't get games ahead of Lustig and Janko so probably best for all parties. Good luck to him.

my only issue is lustig is made of glass and janko had a bad injury last season.

fisher is decent enough to fill the role if anything happens to either

I can just about say for fact that Lustig will have a prolonged period out injured during this season (at least once anyway). If in this period something happens to Janko then all we would have left is Ambroseeeeeee

Dear * Ambrose at right back

Not going to happen. If McNair comes in he can play RB too.
Then we have Ralston too at a push.I think Ambrose will be loaned out.

ambrose at right back is possibly his worst position, terrible when played there

Fair enough if McNair comes, but it's not sealed yet by any means.

Lustig, Janko and Ralston is more than enough for RB.

Best of luck to him. Though not fantastic, he is a quite decent player that did well when needed. We surely could benefit from keeping him in the squad since as someone said it's just a mattter of when Lustig and Janko will be injured again but at that age he needs to be starting games often if he wants to have a career.
