Young Fisher had a good game also today, a bit nervy at the start which is understandable but he settled and didnt look out of place. Well done to him.

The Hibs goal was a mile offside may i add. Ridiculous decision :38:

Fisher was rock solid defensively. How old is he, 18? Some * debut.

Also maybe not taking a gamble on another cheap striker who gets played as a striker. Not out wide or running from midfield. That's why i'd be playing Balde, he at least holds that position. Sure he's messy if you just knock the ball high to him but ball into feet facing the goals surely he's gonna get more goals than Pukki, who i feel is more of a midfielder or a winger

How good is Ambrose btw. * love the man. 89th minute and he's flicking the ball over an opponent's head in the box. :notworthy
    Black * Messi

I was trying to watch the game on my phone in work. Were the conditions as bad as they looked? Couldn't make it out 100%. Cheers

We should be beating Hibs, we wouldn't always beat them though but on paper we should.

No point in just saying "we will win the league" when we drop points though and completely ignoring the fact we didn't play great in the final third.

couldnt be more right with your sumation :50: i guess if there is an advantage it's that the opposition see threats all over our frontline

yeah i would like a creative central midfielder but i don't think it's neils plans, he's going more with the 2 or 3 dm and a attacking mid

We played fine in the final third. I can think of at least two chances where at least 4 Hibs players were throwing themselves at shots and their keeper made at least 3 top drawer saves.

Sometimes it just clicks for a defence and it did for the most part for Hibs today.

We had a grand final third. It was the first and second thirds that, as ever, were the problem - even if we got a goal in the second.

    Ambrose was awful today.

A few clever flicks and mazy runs does not disguise the fact that he gave the ball straight to opposition players at least twice when he had more than one team mate available to him, and also headed the ball straight into the path of a Hibs player towards the end of the game, when the score was 1-1 and we were pushing for a winner.

He is a defender first and foremost, not an attacking midfielder. Once he is capable of consistently delivering the goods defensively, then he can think about * flicking the ball over the heads of opposition players.

He wins the ball and beats the attacker literally 98% of the time though, plus it's not his fault he's got no-one to * aim for when he does stride out of defence. Van Dijk as well.

It's like the rest of the team are just waiting for them both to do mad fifa runs and score from their own box 5 times a game, becuase they get no support whatsoever from the midfield. We have zero creativity or movement off the ball, it annoys me so much. Pretty much the only people I can't have a go at though are Van Dijk & Ambrose.
