That's what the films show you. Lots of American women are big fatties.

No, and nor should there ever be.

There needs to be greater gun control to simply stop the influx for firearms into the hands of those who cannot properly handle a firearm and the hands of criminals. Full stop. Banning firearms will do diddly * to stop violent crime.

    I'm not picky.
And yet the USA has such a huge influx of immigrants. Not bad for the "worst country on the planet" if hundreds of thousands are trying to escape their own countries to live in a much worse one.

USA is still one of the dream places to live for me, especially round California or that.

Worst country on the planet is so ridiculous it's unbelievable, I'm not a huge fan of their foreign policy by any means but it's still a fantastic place to live with unbelievable opportunities.

    Not isn't.

It isn't as bad as say Nigeria or Malawi obviously, however if you are poor then you are going to live a pretty miserable life and doesn't matter how much sun is beating down or how 'powerful' and 'glamorous' your nation is - your life will be miserable.

There isn't any unbelievable opportunities, it is either 1st or 2nd (depending on source) least socially mobile western nation on earth. That is, if you are born poor, you are likely to stay poor. The American dream died about 30 years ago.

The United States is a weird place to live and it no longer stands for what it used to - especially after Nixon. If your dying and you don't have medical insurance - you die! The largest cause of bankruptcy in the United States is a serious illness. If you do one slight thing wrong - you can be sued. If you have '3 strikes', you are imprisoned for life (they have the highest incarceration rate in the world). Their parties are funded by the same wealthy corporations on both sides, they are $15 Triliion in debt, they have employment policies that allow you to be sacked at anytime for anything.

Honestly, the United States is *, that is unless you are extremely wealthy.

Is it true you can buy a 3 bed house in Detroit for like 2-3 grand USD?
    And then there's Compton...

Great place to visit as a tourist, but generally tourists are far wealthier than the majority living in the USA. Thereby you are seeing and experiencing parts of America that really on the middle class and above really enjoy or get to experience regularly.

You really think someone on minimum wage working 60 hours a week can afford to go to Disneyland or Universal or Bush Gardens if they live in Florida? As Absurd has mentioned its a fantastic place to live if you are on a middle class income.

Or bust a gut to get places.

The US is an excellent place for those who are willing to work hard and work smart to get where they need to be. It's certainly next on my list of destinations.
