I don't know where people get the idea he's not a £10m keeper.

Imo he's the best keeper England have right now. * Craig Gordon who had never set foot in the CL let alone starred in numerous games, was a £9m keeper.

Craig Gordon was a £10m keeper so no, Forster's not a £10m player... he's worth much more than that.

Gordon was an excellent goalkeeper. Commanded his area much better than Forster as well.

He did but he had never proven himself a Champions League level keeper.

It is, looked like the natural successor to Jim Leighton.

I think there's going to be plenty of interest in Forster during the transfer window.

What was it that put big Gordon out the game ? Was it a shoulder injury ? Hated him for going up for that last minute corner :38: but wit a feckin keeper. Would have loved a fit Craig Gordon, and big F.F. as our two goalies, along with this defence, cementing together now :ynwacelti

Hate how we have to sell good players straight away these days.

If he does the same again in the last 3 games he will be worth 15m plus.

Gordon was an over-rated keeper. Lightweight and made a lot of mistakes, think of the amount of poor ones just against us alone. He did have some good displays too, mostly for Scotland.

    Forster > Boruc > Klos > Ruddy > McGregor > Gordon

Gordon was far better than McGregor as well

I think Forster is very close to Boruc now to be honest.

Ruddy is a good keeper, better than McGregor and Gordon for me.

If you were buying them all around 28 years old id value them

    Forster £12million
    Boruc £10million
    Klos £8million
    Ruddy £7million
    McGregor £6million
    Gordon £5million

Forster id say is easily the most solid, Boruc could be solid his weakness was fitness, sometimes let himself go and at times lacked concentration. Klos was quality at close range saves and decent 1 on 1 but was too flappy and his kicking was up there with the worst you'll ever see, wont see many quality keepers who can barely kick the ball off the ground. Ruddy is just a good allround keeper not really any weaknesses but no plus points either. McGregor really good on his line and at reflex saves from close range but flaps too much at long distance shots and crosses. Gordon was good 1 on 1 but weak for a keeper - kind of like De Gea came out for crosses and fell to the ground all the time and conceded cheap goals.
