We were very unlucky to leave with nothing tonight. The first goal was luck but our defenders can't be switching off at this level for their second, whether it was a free-kick or not.

I'm proud of the team overall. Totally gutted because we did deserve something.

How good were Efe and Van Dijk tonight btw! Tremendous both of them making a real solid partnership. Organisation and possession retention were good tonight. We lacked a cuttin edge though, Matthews' crossing wasn't good enough, Commons doesn't have the mobility at this level, hard to judge Stokesy as he didn't see much of the ball and Sammy didn't turn up tonight, Pukki and Boerrigter can hopefully make a difference going forward!

0-0 would have been a fair result but honest assessment there from Lenny "you've got to take your chances because you meet know what's going to happen."

we need to beat ajax at home and away now....no disrespect to them (although there were * tonight),to stand a chance of second spot.

Milan are *,i also belive this to also be the same state with some of there players back as well.We need barca to pump the both of them,to give us a chance of second now....* off about this result tho.

PS: * what flags they had, thats zombie like moaning...everyone takes the * outta the opposition

The Milan fans were at their loudest when they applauded our fans. No joke.

Matthews was one of our better players and instrumental in most of our attacks.

I'm one of his harshest critics, so it's probably only fair that I praise Efe tonight... he was terrific.

    Pish.

Everyone from Stokes to Forster had a defensive job to do as well as an attacking one and all were doing their job perfectly.

changing the personnel or the formation would have * up the dominance we had over Milan.

They got lucky, we set up perfectly.

Can't help but feel if we had Hooper(or another out and out goalscorer) we'd have won that.

I think last season we were extremely "lucky" in Europe going by the popular use of the word on here.

I dont buy into getting lucky and unlucky. Tonight we didnt take our chances when we were on top. We couldnt score because we dont have a goal scorer. And we didnt create because we dont have a creator. We did fantastically well and there are a lot of positives to take from this game. And a lot of players should be proud with their performance. But when you are on top you need to make it count. That isnt bad luck, it is a limitation.

But the scoreline certainly flatters Milan.

    * *. BBC live feed is going on about Chelsea. Nevermind us keeping Milan on the back foot for 84min or Arsenal beating Marseille. There are more teams playing than Chelsea.
