Won loads of headers, tackles and 50/50s too. Didn't think he had it in his locker quite yet but he proved me wrong and then some today. Hopefully he can bring that kind of heart into games against better opposition.

I've also noticed he is always one of the first in there if a scrap kicks off.

Having served in the Israeli forces I bet he could put Ian Black in a headlock using only his pinky.

If he keeps improving at this rate he'll be a star player for us. Some of his tackles today were excellent and when he does win it he rolls a neat pass forward to the likes of Commons very quickly, rather than always a square or backwards pass.

He needs to keep improving because he still has some potential. He needs a few shooting lessons from Commons..

Definitely proved himself to the support today, last season showed his class and ease he could play with under Lennon, turned up on the big stage of a semi final against Physical opponents and made them look like amateurs, hopefully everyone has the belief in him now :icon_mrgreen: in Bitton we trust!

Was very impressed with him yesterday. Had my doubts before but he's proving me wrong.

Impressive yesterday, especially in the first half. He was keeping possession on a tottie field of a park very well.

Proved my doubts about him wrong anyway, didn't need to get involved physically against Law whilst Brown had Black in his back pocket.

I watched the whole game back when I got home last night, and I don't think Bitton gave it away once yesterday. Kept it neat and tidy, and was a standout performer for me. The battle that some were anticipating last week, never materialised, and never looked like doing so either.

Wasn't just neat and tidy 5 yard passes all the time either.

I've said it before but it's an absolute myth that he doesn't play forward passes. He does it almost every game. He just doesn't risk it all the time, excellent at keeping possession.

Watched the game back twice and he really did stroll it.

Aye, he was brilliant yesterday for me. I think the best way to describe his passing, is that he plays the percentage pass. He is happy to keep it short if there isn't much on, but can play longer passes when they are on. He never forces anything.

He's won me over. Got stuck in with a few bruising 50/50 tackles yesterday. But what impressed me most was his coolness on the ball. He just strolled through the game like nothing could ruffle his feathers. And unlike Johanson he hardly ever loses possession.

Great first half faded a little in the second, would still like him to keep the work rate high, imposing himself for the full 90.

This. Was sceptical of him at first, but he's come on brilliantly. Don't think Mulgrew has much of a chance if Bitton keeps this up.

His emphasis was definitely more of a sitter mate in the second, due to us having the game won..
The whole team were guilty of that to some degree as the game was won:50:

Thought he set the tempo well for us again today. Quickly becoming one of our most consistent players.
