Nir Bitton

Another good game today. This boy is a player and we need to give him games, always comfortable on the ball and as said previously if he can get back to the form prior to his injury last season he will do very well for us.

Thought he had another solid game today. I also liked this interview:

Bitton hopes to 
stay in contention for 
today’s home league game with St Mirren and revealed a conversation with Deila has been the catalyst to improving his game.

He said: “Like every player I want to play as many games as possible.

“During the last 10 weeks I spoke to the gaffer about it and he tried to explain what he expects from me.

“I’ve tried to change it in training and show him that I deserve to play. I’m happy that in the last two weeks I have been given that chance.

“What we spoke about, I will keep it between us.

“But I’m happy he has given me a chance and the team have won the games in which I have played.

Think he's an excellent player, very underrated.

 

I really like the look of him, always have, he has a touch of class about him. I would have him in the team anyday over Mulgrew, hopefully he gets a chance to stay in the team for the coming games.

 

Thought the big man played well again in difficult conditions and a terrible pitch but passing still crisp as ever..

 

Really liking the look of Bitton in there and he brings a bit pf personality into the role. It's good to see him galloping about and slotting passes around.

Always looks comfortable on the ball and very assured. He'd start in there for me every game, looks much better in there then Mulgrew. Charlie has really done us a turn but it's time to revert him back into utility man and brough in as and when needed for cover.

If he turns it on then he can keep the jersey but Bitton deserves to get the nod.

 

Aye he's earned that spot now when Charlie gets back. Looks a class player in there, I like how he always looks to move forward with the ball. There were countless occasions yesterday when he picked it up and immediately looked forward and moved us up the pitch. I like Charlie a lot but he's way too prone to just playing it sideways.

 

Lad could be a big player for us against Inter

 

Should be starting every match in Mulgrews place.

 

It's amazing how one of our former players of the year and good celtic man suddenly fall out of favour when a new manager comes in and his place is taken by a foreign player who will leave as soon as a team down saf are looking, he ain't any better than Mulgrew and if you needed 110% from a player I know who most likley would give it.

so optimistic , boy has played a handful of decent games recently but has been out of his depth even in the SPL on many occassions .
