Id have gave him another chance but If he's not in the manager plans he would know this. If he wanted to play football he would have been off already. He's a leecher.

More chance of seeing Lord Lucan than seeing this waster play a full 90mins.

 

Ronny was asked about him by a Dutch journalist in the last press conference. Apparently he's fit right now, but doesn't play "because of the competition in the team", ie not good enough.

 

Christ he must be bad if he can't get into the team.

 

I dont get it. Must be personal. He has looked great near everytime he has played one we dive, that was clearly not that bad of a dive and ronny has never even put him on since. I bet derk told ronny to do one after the way he was treated by ronny. He should of back him up in public over the dive, not crucify him. Things like this should be dealt with in private, not through the papers.

 

When Celtic announced their latest under-20 starting line-up for Tuesday’s clash with Ross County there was one name that caught the eye in particular – Derk Boerrigter.
When a 28-year-old takes part in a development squad game it is usually when they are on their way back from injury, but when it comes to Boerrigter, this is the level he has got used to in recent times.


The fact that he initially signed a four-year contract is almost certainly a factor, with other clubs clearly not feeling strongly enough about him to make an acceptable bid, but what a waste it has been for a player who is clearly not going to get chances at Celtic now.
Had he left either permanently or on loan this summer he could have rebuilt his career elsewhere, but as it is he seems no closer to getting the first-team football he has been missing for so long, with the possibility of him seeing out his contract and leaving on a free transfer looking increasingly likely.

 

Watched him playing against Partick in a friendly for the development Squad, he played up front with young Laverty, Boerrigter was pants, he left the young CF to basically work the line himself, which the lad did, he put a shift in, Boerrigter was anything but a good example to the younger lads...waste of a good wage !

 

This is actually getting comical now, in terms of bad signings he makes Pukki and Bangura look like Larsson and Moravcik. Where the * is this guy?
