Thought he was excellent today. Should have had at least a hat trick.

Stokes will come back here with a clean slate and rightly so.

Rodgers will get the best out of Stokes.

By all accounts Rodgers is the sort of manager who will not ask players to do anything out of their comfort zone as long as they can do a job for him.

Stokes will play a part next season I'm sure.

We will see but I doubt that he would be able to deliver consistently for us.

    Cant see it tbh mate.

Rodgers will be looking to cull the * out this squad and spend a wee bit on proven quality.

Stokes has been out of the picture too long and hasnt done * since hooper left and that partnership was ended.

He also hasnt done himself any favors with his attitude.

But as I said before... how knows what BR has in store.

WE could see a new Stokes/Giff team up up top.

    Just not probable though.

Stokesay is tailor made to play as an inverted left attacker in the Rodgers 4-3-3. The new gaffer would have seen that today , he can be lethal cutting in from the left.

He scored 20 goals and showed the best form of his Celtic career the season after Hooper left, after Griffiths came in. Last season he set up more goals than any other despite only playing half a season.

Can't see Stokes playing any part at Celtic next season to be honest, he'll be a Hibs player again next season.

Aye, bullied that Tavernier all day. Said this once today but what I would have given to see Stokes play instead of GMS this year :54:

Just goes to show how idiotic the decision to send the second best striker in Scottish football out on loan was, thank * ronnys gone ,there is no way we should be letting him go at least until we find someone better .Hooper and griffiths have been great for us with stokes not far behind no-one else has come close

Terrorised Tavernier every time he turned inside onto Tavernier's left.

Definitely one to think about for next season up against that *.

Bossed him at the 2nd goal as well, turn and face that Tavernier and he's clueless, breezed by him all day.

Apart from Griffiths, Stokes is the only one we have who has scored on a consistent basis. We need four good strikers imo and Stokes could be in that four.

I've said to you before mate. Tavernier is garbage at the back, majorly..

Stokes terrorised him, especially for his second at the corner..

Tavernier is dangerous as * on the attack - no doubt about it, but he is a * useless defender.

Stokes turned him inside out, and brushed him off like he wasn't there for his headed goal.

    * lovely stuff, and good knowledge for next season :86:

Exactly, that's all anyone has been saying.

We don't expect him to be the messiah but he still has something to offer this football club.

Put somebody right up there on him, have Tierney attacking, he won't have the chance to get forward.

Hibs showed how to play them today, they done the opposite of what we did. We gave them time on the ball. They pressure their back 4 constantly while on the ball and they were so frail it was unreal.

We gave them an easy time of it.

Indeed we did. They are dangerous going forward, make no doubts about it, but have a go at them? Easy as *. Look at the games they've lost in the 4 months......embarrassing from the "greatest team in Scottish fitba" :56::56::56::56:
