I cannot wait til Wednesday. Pre season fries my mind its never a good indication of anything ever lol.

 

People saying Kerr is bad on that channel,he's nowhere near as bad as that other * on there,has he had anything positive to say about us in the whole tour as I've yet to hear it!

8 celtic players in the box and about 7 of them trying to head the ball out ...

just not good enough.

we would have been better sending out our under 19's / next gen team. if the players are meant to be getting match fit then why are we not playing our first team players.

i predict the same * attitude from our players for the domestic matches next season. Forrest was terrible but i will give a pass to all youngsters as they need to gain experience.

We do not look good in any third of the pitch.
We can't keep possession
We don't create much going forward and on the rare occasions we do get forward our forward line does not do a lot with the chances

I don't know what Lenny learned from this pre-season but if this is the brand of football that is going to be on show next season then expect crowds 30k.

hope i am proved wrong but so many of our players talk themselves up in the papers and do * all on the pitch. might as well blame the new strip as i have no idea why we are playing such poor football

This! Definetaly, we need a creative attacking/goalscoring midfielder, and a PROVEN striker because Hooper may be away and big Balde doesn't impress me although it is early days with him.

Believe it or not on the BBC World Footie phone in podcast, Tim Vickers their "South American Expert" thought the best transfer last Jan was Miku to us on loan, have we released him and Lassad? * even Lassad as backup would suit but I feel gutted losing big Vic Bless him but he could've given us another year at least to prove himself in the Champions league proper can't believe he went to the Saints I wanted him in a top 4 premier side esp. Man Utd!

Now good strikers aint cheap, I would give Hooper a season extension and insert a sell-on fee of £7 - £9 mil, any word on James Keatings? When is he due back or did we release him? and where is Tony Watt? Injured? Why are we so out of condition? luckily we should have a good enough squad to handle Cliftonville but I think this season will be a long hard one unless we stick to our best formation and players, but then off course injuries has affected pre-season but we MUST improve! Pass marks to Broonie, Jackson, Rogic and Sammi.

Was a * game but a good fitness test for the team. The young guys looked alright, few mistakes here and their but nothing to get too concerned about.

Although we should really be going into these games and just pass the ball to death. So from that point of view i don't think we played it like a training game at all.

Certainly more to take from this game than the others, at least it highlights to the board we need one or two players in sharpish. A Wanyama replacement is kinda essential i think and a guy who can take teams on on the counter attack

 

Heard it all last pre season as well.

It's not time to pushing panic buttons that's for sure.

 

mowbray got his best results pre season..and then he took everything else on the chin!

 

Fitness, concentration, and defensive organization would not be a problem if he were our manager.

 

Aye I seem to recall that. I'm slightly more worried than I was last year to tell the truth but I'm sure we'll hit the ground running once competitive games kick in.
