    Falkirk in the Semi-Final.

    The Scottish Cup Final is the send-off for the whole Scottish football season.

    As a supporter of Scottish football in general, I'd love to see a classic Hampden match-up between Celtic and Dundee Utd./Hibernian, with our Bhoys coming out on-top, of course.

    Looking forward to this.

    I don't think that Dundee United would give us much of a game really to be honest though. I mean with all of the problems they're going through lately.

    Hibs are a mess too.

    To be frank Im kind of scratching my head as to why either of the two made it this far in the competition.

    I think we are a shoe-in to win it this year. If we don't the Manager is going to have some serious questions to answer.

    It's not about the opposition I worry about its just hampden it gives me the heeby jeebies! I thought the Huns was a bad attitude and killie where just luck! hearts was a refs decision it wasn't till the st mirren game i woke up and thought what is actually going on.... Now before we beat them yesterday I was like oh * hampden a next!

    Hey i hope your right man! But i can just imagine the uproar from 'fans' if we were to not win the SC this season, i have no doubt there are folk out there who would see a Scottish Cup exit for us as a way to say this was just an average season, purely as they say the league was inevitable.

    Lennon could really be doing with a SC win, not because he needs it to make or break the season, but to help put this Hampden hoodoo thing to rest. If we were to be put out the semis, Hampden only becomes a harder and harder venue for this group of players.

    Also, a wee bit gutted at the dates for this game as it is the same weekend as the St. Pauli party, guess i will have to watch the game in the Jolly Rodger!

    Look we've won more Scottish cups than any other club in the country I don't know what you people are talking about.

    There is no "Hampden curse" - its nonsense

    Yeah, there's no curse, but there's no question our record there, over the last few years, has been nothing short of woeful.

    I'm worried we'll lose, too.

    Would also be good if Jackie could be in the final.

    Will take anyone in the semis but as long as we break the hampden hoodoo, our record there past few years has been poor since Lenny took charge, is actually quite a worrying statistic.

    St Mirren - league cup semi - 2-3
    Hearts - Scottish cup semi - 1-2
    Kilmarnock - League cup final - 0-1
    Rangers - League cup final - 1-2
    Ross County - Scotish cup semi - 0-2

    If that were to happen, we'd need to get Dundee Utd and Hibs would need to get Falkirk imo in the draw.

    Falkirk is the easiest draw.

    We can comfortably beat any of the 3 sides but our Hampden hoodoo makes me less confident than I'd usually be against any of them :icon_neutral:
