I dont buy this in Injury nonsense same with the guy b4 you talkin about not wearing shinnies... If you cant take the heat stay out the fire,

Ive had many injuries with 50/50 tackles but never have been injured via a slide tackle.

    IMO its football fundamentals!

Why because you spend your hard earned cash to sit and mark punters tightly for the full hour, giving attacking play a 2nd glace as you pursue the almighty defensive white wash? mmm u fancy a game wae oor side?

You'd be called out as a * and risk a smack in the mouth if you made slide tackles at any of the 5's I've been involved in. Why risk injuring another bloke for no real reason?

I can't say I've ever seen it at 5's but I do all them all the time in 7's. It's a much bigger pitch and doesn't seem as dangerous compared to the thought of doing them in a 5's cage.

I wouldn't want to slide tackle at 5s unless it's on grass. Get burned/cut to * with those little bits of rubber, and that's on good pitches (Garscube in Glasgow, Stirling). My local ones are a mixture of sand, glass (at least it feels like class when you fall on your *) and rubber, and that old rip-your-knee astroturf. I'm not a health and safety not but it's not for me. :smiley-laughing002: Can't be a good slide tackle on grass though. :50:

I was told no slide-tackles at sevens because the opposition weren't wearing shin guards. Think it's allowed mostly though.

Lazy. Indoor is about attack AND defence, hence it being not like a proper game.

Do you just hang up front like a moocher?

It's banned at the place where I used to play. Utter joke! Even sliding to block a * shot :38:

Slide tackles should also be allowed at any form of football for me.

Tbh people who slide at 5s usually get theirs * kicked in and rightly so... unnecessary, 9/10 times a person will get hurt. Most people can't even slide tackle properly anyway and doing at 5s makes you either an * or a * footballer.

PS:Not allowed to shoulder charge either for obvious reasons.

Probably by doing it every week you've got used too it. For someone who posts as much bile as you, you must be used to it. You see a Grammar error as a cheap victory naw? :87:
