That guy is all fart and no *. All talk by the sounds of it. Do they actually punch on? Or does he just brag about his jacket?

That said, some classic one liners in there!

I did sixth year at Kelvinside just up from Byre's Road... and I played rugby. :54: :56: I don't speak like a * * though. :smiley-laughing002: That said, you do get it up there - thought he was one of them when I first saw it.

Having moved from the Borders to the West End and lived there for two years, I can safely say that the place is a shitehole, and that bloke sounds like pretty much everyone who goes to Uni.

Now that I live in the East End, I can safely safe that it is less of a shitehole :p

Haha...lets be honest now, that depends very much on how you quantify "shitehole"!

I may identify more with the proletariat, but give me the choice between a flat on London Road or Highburgh Road and I know which one I'm taking! :icon_mrgreen:

Depends what part of the West End, man. I agree that the main thoroughfares are full of * - i.e. Byres Rd, Ashton Lane, Great Western Road, Woodlands Road, University Avenue, etc...

However, areas like Partick, Finnieston, Yorkhill, and Anderston are absolutely fine! In fact, I find Finnieston to be a fantastic wee spot to go drinking!

    "Where you from?"
    "West End"
    "Where abouts?"
    "Partick"

NAW. Partick is not in the West End.

Geographically it is. But it's not the West End like Byres Road etc
