As the title suggests, I'm looking to go away with the boys at the end of next month, somewhere really just to party for the weekend.

Have been to, and enjoyed, Berlin and Amsterdam for this purpose before so ideally somewhere different, anyone got any ideas on good places?

Btw above is a joke, but benidorm is good mate, and its a euro for a local vodka and coke in most places so pretty cheap. Theres always something on and always hunners a people about,

For more of a clubbing weekend I would say Liverpool or Newcastle. Amsterdam is very expensive and not a great selection of clubs. Great for festivals though.

I was looking at Newcastle but for the same price as the train down we could go abroad, which was why I'd been looking at that.

You're better off elsewhere tbh there are much better cities than this expensive hole but if youve never been before I cant say you shouldnt try it, just dont get stuck in the hole that is temple bar for the entire weekend they chargee 6 quid a pint in some places, tourist trap.

Seen a few people mention Hamburg, it's never somewhere I'd really heard of as a big partying place?
Is Prague not a bit of a stag do/matching tshirts sort of place where the only chance of getting your hole is if you pay for it?

I personally wouldn't shell out money to go to places like Liverpool, Newcastle or Dublin, no matter how hard they party. It wouldn't be a holiday for me unless I could have a few drinks in the roasting heat during the day, before going out to party. Not to mention beach and pool parties.

I would suggest going somewhere very warm when a big DJ is playing or a festival is on, even if the DJ or festival only lasts a day or two - you have the rest of the holiday to enjoy the heat and try out all the other clubs and parties. Guaranteed to have a banging time.

No to mention the ladies are always wearing less when the sun's out.

Bear in mind we're talking about a weekend away in February, not a summer holiday?

Agree about Barcelona. A was there with my mates in December. Great weekend. Went on the camp nou tour and went to a game. Really friendly people with great pubs and clubs. Although the British bars were expensive so we stuck to the Spanish ones. Went to a cocktail bar way all kinds a drinks down by the pier, really cheap...needless to say I was steaming :icon_mrgreen:
