    I tend to avoid drinking on Xmas eve and new years eve. I can't stomach the family dinner the next day with the horrendous hangovers i get :icon_mrgreen:

    Think i'm staying in this year so it'll be a beer or two then bed after the bells.

    I don't have any compunction getting wrecked any other nights of the year but it seems a special sort of low to be catastrophically hungover on New Year's Day.

    I like to start a year off positively - and shivering, sweating, nearly boaking and being washed inside-out by negative feelings, whilst trying to piece together the night before, would just ruin it for me.

    Done it plenty of times before but a few years back I just decided to wise up.

    same boat mate usaully i used to drink from christmas eve tull new years day,so gonnae stay off it this year cant be arsed anymore.
