At 33 this is just a waste of money IMO.

It says Iaquinta is not ready to call time on his career and is due in Glasgow so Celtic can test his fitness as he has had some injury problems in the past. Also mentions that he can play in the Champions League

At 33 years old I'm not sure. Our main priorities for January should be an attacking midfielder and winger, not a striker.

anyone that wouldn't want a player like Iaquinta here is mental.

He might be 33, but he's Italian. They usually play until their about 40. Look at Pippo Inzaghi - what age did he retire?

Great striker. Would be a class above any sort of defender in SPL in terms of movement and touch. would be some coup if we get him

Maybe makes sense short term, especially if Miku is going home.

Would be utter stupidity imo, especially as stokes is coming back. He has a pretty mediocre scoring record but he has played in a big league and for the italian national side cue everyone jizzing themselves over him despite his average goals to game ratio.

I seem to recall him scoring a great perfect hat trick in the CL for Udinese at one point.

Not sure a striker is what we need, but if the price is right I'd take him.

    I don't think he's needed right now.

I'd be lying if I said I knew how good he is now days, but in his day we was a good striker, could only help players like watt if they are training with someone of his quality everyday. I wouldn't necessarily expect him to make a massive impact on the pitch, I could be wrong though.

He's been pish for a few years now. Not that he hasn't the potential for an Indian summer somewhere though.

    Too old, too many injuries.
