last nights performance will give lenny headaches about who to pick and leave out against motherwell

i guess the temptation is for the manager to pick a team for motherwell that allows key players keep their strength and fitness for the away game in moscow

but doing that and making sure the team on saturday don't look forward to tuesday therefore leaving themselves vulnerable will be the danger in this one i think

I'm guessing with it being a 3PM KO it won't be on TV?

Take Kayal and Wanyama off for Brown and Ledley after about 55 mins.

    Hooper shouldn't be stopped.

You never drop a man on form. Give him all the games he can to feed the form.

I'd rest him for Tuesday mate. Two day's rest isn't enough.

When you are in the sort of form that Hooper is in it is.

I don't know what form has to do with being tired? But they're travelling to Moscow so i wouldn't play our best player 3 days before a game in Moscow. If he starts I hope he's taken off after an hour or so.

I would just be too scared of Hooper getting injured. Motherwell are hacking *. I would keep him safe for Tuesday as well

Form players just tend to want the games to come thick and fast; I wouldn't want him be rested on Saturday, just because of the form he is in.

I would agree with if we tie the game up get him off around the hour mark.

Want to see Wanyama and Ambrose together! Boss the midfield. They have the potential to be the most dominant force in Scottish football since...well, I've never seen a club have two players of their like together at any time. :celt_2:

Also, Kayal and Ledley coming off the bench for some game time, ahead of the CL game.

Was actually hoping last night would mark the start of a very good run of form for him tbh. He hasn't been THAT good so far, last night aside obviously. Despite scoring a couple in Europe and 1 in the league before last night, he'd been patchy performance-wise. Hoping he clicks in to gear in the league matches as well now. I wouldn't drop him either, and I'd start McGeouch out right again as well - Hooper was feeding off him brilliantly last night. :50:

I think he's been excellent performance wise and patchy infront of goal. You knew it'd come for him though, he's been working his * off and trying to be the link up man in the team. He's been doing it well, hopefully the goals start rolling as well.

He's missed a few this season he would usually put away.

Would be more like a 4-2-3-1, I suppose. Don't really want to drop McGeouch for Forrest out right, but also want to keep Forrest in there because he played better last night. But of course Commons has been our best league player so far so leaving him out shouldn't be an option either :56: The problems eh :icon_mrgreen:
