I have to agree on Bangura, feel that he just isnt celtic class, even for the SPL, the guy looks like a rabbit in the headlights each and every time he has the ball and is expected to do something with it

I want him to do well but I just cant see it. I remember looking at vids of him and reading about him months before we were even credited with any interest and thinking this guy looks a good player. Liverpool and other teams scouted him at one point. Think he could be better with a couple goals behind him but not holding my breath.

Equally have you seen a good player with no confidence?! Fact is, confidence is something we can't judge. Obviously if you have no ability then confidence makes no difference. However we haven't seen Mo with a goal yet so we can't judge either way. I tend to think confidence in football is massive.

I look at Torres why was he so good a few years ago, compared to last season?

Then he scores against Barca in CL final, then gets goals in the Euros? What are the reasons for that??

Anyone think a loan spell would benefit him if he is not producing the goods come the january window?

In all seriousness tho I know what you're saying but we'll just have to wait and see.

Bangura is pish. He's been given enough chances. He just doesn't have any qualities that a professional footballer needs, and you can't put that down to lack of confidence as he was spouting pish about joining Man Unt earlier. Absolute dud.

Loan him out come christmas, see if he can find confidence elsewhere and bring it back to paradise. Though it feels like another rasmussen has landed

Would prefer Rasmussen, he has actually scored a couple of goals for us and looked an ok goal poacher when coming off the bench in his first season. Much prefer to bring him on ahead of Bangura if we need a goal. Perhaps Bangura will be given more game time this season to prove himself though, but for 2 million i would of expected much more so far.

Rasmussen can;t even get 90 minutes for the development squad.

    Another dud.

We really should stay way from the Scandinavian Leagues for players, hardly any have worked out for us in a long time.

I was extremely suprised that Rasmussen didn't feature for Lenny during 2010/11 as I thought he'd be the PERFECT type of player for Lenny's first season in charge. He actually did fairly well with limited appearances in the 2nd half of the failed 2009/10 seasons i.e winner v Hamilton, last gasp winner v Hibs etc. His time has gone and he must be sold asap or else he'll run down his contract til next summer.

Is it true that Henrik was talking about Ibrahim Bangura, not Mo Bangura?

I think this is the perfect way to show a concern rather than some of the 'knee *' stuff that appears after games.

Legitimate question too, I dont think I can ever remember a striker not having even scored for us after so long time wise, minutes per games wise will show different of course, but I cant see this boy working out either.

Well he is a bit tricky with his feets thats all he is too slow in his decisionmaking to be able to make any proper inpact. His movement feels very trained rather than natural talent.

I said the same in the Wilson/Lustig thread, I don't think we've seen the best of Bangura, he's spent a lot of time out of the team and not very long on the park. Hopefully he'll get his chances in the SPL this season and show why we spent that kind of money on him.
