Barring some total misfortune, like the whole German squad sailing into the Bermuda triangle and disappearing,I can`t see anyone else winning this tourny.By far the best team in it.

Germany just look great everywhere. For all the talk about Spain, I think they would kill for a Gomez or Reus. Can't see anyone else winning.

If spain find their groove (which i dont think they have yet) i still think they would play germany or any other team of the park.

Spain will beat Germany if they meet in my opinion.

Spain are winners and they always seem to do enough.

Was looking through the German Euro team and thinking, where is that guy Seb Deisler nowadays, he was ear marked for huge huge things then vanished. Just seen he retired at 27 with depression, WOW ! Thought he was immense when i seen him play, such a shame, i know it was years ago but i found that pretty sad tbh.

in general i am very glad for the very good performance in euro 2012 as Greece reach the quarters and manage to score in every match and fight every game even if sometimes referees weren't very good...today Germany was better and deserved the win but also glad we scored 2 goals to that team.....well done Greece:)

Samaras indeed played left side... Salpingidis played as a lone striker in the starting 11. I can't for the life of mine understand some of the criticism here.. Greece have scored in all of their games still there's moaning about anti-football..Game ends 4-2 still i hear about anti-football. We re all Celtic supporters on here, so just think and be honest to yourselves... Was the tactical approach the same when we played spl games as the one we used in europe? You ve gotta adapt to the difficulty of each game.. If you think you can play free flowing entertaining football against a team 100 times more expensive than yours, then keep on living on your nice pretty much perfect world.
Football is NOT a sport where the best always wins. That's the beauty of it.. hope some of you can one day get past what you see on the pitch, to what an unexpected win can make you feel..

If your on about me yet again all I said was it's a good win for football terms ffs. It's okay to be defensive at times but Greece overstep the mark. Playing for free kicks time wasting and only stringing 70 odd passes together in the first half is pathetic. And like I said no matter who they play they won't change I bet if they played scotland they would still be the same.

Then I said I'd rather see teams progress who better football only because its for the good of the tournament and for entertainment.

Go have a look in the champions league final thread it's was a different story at that time why is that chelsea are no different to greece they're both football teams at the end of the day.

They are stronger physically yes, but Spain are more skilful.

The Germans are all very solid technically, but there is no outstanding flair or imagination in any of those players, except Ozil. (And Gotze, but he's hardly featured...)

Spain have got flair & creativity coming out their ears - Xavi, Iniesta, Silva, Mata, Fabregas.

    Mon the paella munchers! :50:
