    I never watched tonight as I said but just on what I heard the first two matches mate it * me off and all over twitter ect everyone just saying "lol is Samaras still playing hahaha he is * celtic are * hahaha" * me off because they know NOTHING!

    Fair play to Savage though i'vew always liked him. But the other commentators, the older ones who know they have a safe job, just chat the most amount of bollocks!

    Amazing result for Greece....i think that in the group games we deserved to pass to the next round as we had not good refs against poland and against russia....i am very delight as even the bad ref agaisnt us we did it......no matter if we get germany,portugal or denmark is 1 game and everything can happen especially if we play like today......

    I have to be honest, I've been critical of big Sammy, but hats off to him for a terrific performance for Greece tonight. In the 2nd half especially, I thought he played a really big part in Greece's surprising (and IMHO deserved) win.... holding/winning long balls.. winning free kicks ... tackling back... providing an outlet which alllowed them break up the pattern of play. All in all, I thought he put in a great shift. The Russian's were a big letdown, and very lucky not to have gone 2-0 down. 100% no doubt a penalty. Ref got it totally gone and if their was any fairness in the world, the yellow card to Karagounis should be deleted. Although I couldn't help laugh at him running around in anguish - reminded me of Robert De Niro in Raging Bull. Poor guy was devastated.

    The same player that cheated Scotland was at it again for the Czech's, diving about. Really wanted Poland to go through.

    I was sure Poland and Russia would be the teams going through, happy for Greece though however I'm sorry to say their run will end against Germany :icon_mrgreen: (If they even play Germany, who knows what'll happen tomorrow).
