With the newco looking to be allowed back in to the SPL with everycunt saying the SPL need them, then surely with them needing us equally we can just throw our weight about also, and demand things and threaten to leave the league if we don't get them.

It's a stupid and childish point, but it's true. They * have managed to cheat their way to league titles and the powering body in Scottish football is okay with that because they "need" Rangers. Now we both know we can take full advantage of anything because we are absolutely essential to them.

    Spineless morons.

It is a real kick in the balls to every legitimate team in Scotland, but did we expect anything less from them? They some how manage to out do their own lows on a regular basis....its a * joke!

We have to throw our weight about, even just to make a mockery of a New Club being allowed in the SPL.

We should either demand good enough punishments or even just laughable punishments to show up the League like demand any team voting in favour of a Newco is deducted 100 points :56:

What happens when Romanov clocks on that he could make his debt flow down the drain without so much as a slap on the wrist? Or any other side for that matter?

They are toying with the basic principles of sport now, it is farcical.

No doubt they will process new legislation so that "this can not happen again" and the next team to go into administration will get hammered. Unless it is them again of course.

This seems the best idea to me, lead by the SPL Champions, I wonder where that would leave the SPL, their TV deal and newco.

I think it's a good point actually, if they are abusing their position why don't we. I think we should push our weight about a bit and do whatever it takes to get them punished the way they deserve to be punished. I will be absolutely livid if they wander back into the SPL with big grins on their stupid * faces. I want to see them suffer for years for what they've done. They have a very short memory, it's absolutely fine to cheat your way to plenty of titles but when you get 10 points off that is outrageous. * idiots.

I would prefer the huns go to division 3 could you imagine how dependent the spl would be on Celtic and us as fans we could pretty much get what we want by the time the huns got back in we would own the league :celt_2:

Which would kill the game in Scotland as much as ripping up the rule book to accomodate Rangers

Rangers should be punished. Keep them in the league & deduct them points so we can pump them and put them on an transfer embargo.

An SPL without no Old Firm games would be boring & pish. Sad but true.

Competitive or not its still a derby.

Its everything around the Old Firm game that makes it special. Its the only game we sell out and keeps our pishy game in Scotland somewhat relevant on a global scale.

Can you honestly say you'd be happy & entertained enough with the biggest game of the calender being against Aberdeen or a Hearts? The crowds would diminish, IMO.
