Earlier on I saw Tony Watt's goal for the first time since it happened. Just seeing it again, and hearing the commentary, genuinely sent a shiver down my spine. What a moment! :celt_2:

Still can't believe how composed he was in the finish, what a moment.

No one could have predicted that bringing on an ex Airdrie youth off the bench against Barca would ultimately end in scenes of utter utter bedlam. The aftermath of the goal was just surreal, and it'll go down in history as one of the best ever moments as a Celtic supporter.

    This.

Mascherano can shift a bit once he gets going, but Watt reacts so much quicker to Xavi's miscue - he gets a two metre start on him that makes time for him to stead himself and score.

Aye, time seemed to slow as he went through on goal then everycunt erupted. Must have been one of the atleast top 3 most celebrated goals ever scored by Celtic as everyone knew it was the game in the bag even though it ended up nervy again minutes later. When he scored it there was a release of tension over panicking about the equaliser.

    Sensational stuff :notworthy

Watching the highlights you can hear the stadium announcer guy shout Tony after the goal, I couldn't have even told you that was done as I literally couldn't hear it at the time! :celt_2: [IMG]

    Will never forget that goal.

From Messi's free kick, Forster saves...
...Forster boots the ball up the park, looks like it's heading to a Barca player (again!)...
...I shout at Forster to stop giving ball away...
    ...Xavi misses it....
...I'm jumping up and down, I knew it was going in...
...Hits back of the net. We had done it.

When the goal went in I was still nervous as *. Kept telling myself that that goal will only buy us time. As in, it gives Barcelona less time to go for their equaliser. I always felt they'd make it 2-1. An amazing moment :shamrock:

My reaction was 'Well surely we're at least getting a point.' Think the only time I thought we were getting 3 points was just before the scored.

Like others it felt like it took 10 minutes for Watts goal to hit the back of the net. Weird watching it back on TV, just took 3 seconds from the point Xavi missed the ball.

I will never forget the commentary to Watt's goal, don't know why it just sticks with me.

'This is Tony Watt.. He's done it! This is the stuff of legends! At the age of 18 Tony Watt takes his place in Celtic folklore. This is mind-blowng, this is Celtic 2-0 Barcelona'.

Ian Crocker is an amazing commentator. He actually sounds passionate about the game, unlike some of these idiots you hear on TV nowadays who don't have a clue and speak in the same monotonous voice throughout. You can tell he loves his job and he has delivered some of the favourite lines amongst the Celtic support throughout the years.

"HENRIK LARSSSSONNNN, THAT IS SENSATIONAL!" :icon_mrgreen:

'It's a chance for Tony Watt can he be the hero.. HE'S SCORED..IT'S A GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL TONY WATT' Only Celtic TV commentary I've ever enjoyed:icon_mrgreen:.
