BERAM Kayal returned to Glasgow this week, after a short break back home in Israel, and has now turned his attentions towards a full recovery. The midfielder underwent ankle surgery last month, but with his rest period now over, he can’t wait to get the ball moving on his return to fitness.

Doctors initially ruled him out of action for four months and Kayal doesn’t want to rush back before he is ready, but he is looking forward to ditching his crutches this weekend, and literally, take his first steps to recovery on Monday.

good to hear. hopefully he takes his recovery not too quickly since there is less threat from rangers.

Although results are going our way without him he is still missed and I hope we can have him back before the season ends. Bit obviously only if fully fit- no point in rushing back and having a set back.

Just hope hes fit enough to run about the park like a loonball with the Trophies at the end of the season even if he doesnt play a game. :celt_2:

He'll probably be one of the players in the crowd at Ibrox since hes injured, he seems a mad character bet hes joining in with the fans and getting it right up the huns :56:

Another quality central midfielder, along with Vic, Ledley, Ki and Brown (on recent form.) Will be great to have him back, but there's no need to rush him.

Saw him in work yesterday and he was still hobbling about like a madman so he's clearly still a long way off. Would be nice to see him back before the season is out at least.
