He could have and should have replaced Hooper, Stokes or Forrest. Bad decision and even worse since it took Lenny 78 minutes to realise that but such is life.

 

Sadly 1000`s of fans can see this tho it`s obvious Lennon cant and i would add James Forrest to that list as well.

Just re watched his two goals against the scum from last season, what a guy!

 

said it at the start sammy should be on in place off forrest he's been poor for weeks if not months now

 

Should have started the game yesterday he could have made all the difference as hes been on great form,he must start against the huns....

 

Samaras should have been in the starting line-up yesterday. I was quite surprised that he wasn't. James Forrest has been poor for weeks now and Samaras had a good game against Dundee Utd last week. I think Neil Lennon was wrong to pick Forrest ahead of Samaras.

 

It's so frustrating that Izzy hasn't returned yet - our team would be so much better with him in - no moving players out of position to solve the problem etc:

That team would have won yesterday.

No denying that Lenny got it wrong picking Forrest ahead of Sammy - especially given Sammy's good performance last week.

 

Picking Kelvin Wilson ahead of Sammy was the worst move. Would have finished with the team that played against Dundee Utd.

Still annoyed about Samaras not being allowed to play more of a part.

Convinced we would have broke through them with him in the team.

 

thats the lineup i wanted too, although, looking back at it now, Ki playing woulda made a difference too, we had a little more control of the midfield when he came on, more forward passes too, but, thats only cause ledley had a bad game, which couldnt have been predicted, so yeah, before the game, this was the lineup i wanted, i told my dad before the game that Sammy wasnt in the line-up, we were both disapointed, 6 months ago we would have both been happy.....shows how well sammy has done this season

and then with half an hour to go, my dad was saying..."bring on sammy, at least he'll run at them", which is spot on imo, much more direct, and mobile than Stokes or Hooper, if he scored more goals,he'd easily be the best Striker at the club

 

* only knows why he didn't start after having a fine game up at Tannadice the week before.

 

I was thinking the game was crying out for somebody who could carry the ball forward strongly, Samaras does that.

 

We needed someone to get the ball down and attack them, Forrest had an off game, Sammy should have started.
