didn't Lennon say last week, or the week, before that contract talks with Hooper were postponed until the Summer? this is old news.

i'm still not worried about this.

fox and cork will never make the step up they aren't good enough and found there level in the champion ship I haven't seen the other players you mentioned play so don't no about them.

the hooper contract talks never happened because lenny is trying to get out of contract players to re-sign and is putting off an other negotiations until summer when it is a virtual certainty that hooper will be given a pay rise and a contract extension

I'd hope he would be for at least five times the transfer fee!

But if you had the money to bid £6million for Hooper then surely youd want another guy in whod score at Premiership level if you look like getting promoted. Even someone like Grant Holt and Kevin Davies, I bet if you offered £3million each for them youd have got them and even though theyre old they could have scored enough to keep you up there.

Lol @ anyone who think Kevin Davies will score more then Sharp or Lambert if we go up next year.

Just got too many players out at the minute, and been playing reserves/youngsters in the cup. Got a few players coming back now though so should hopefully settle back into things in the next two weeks, Sharp will be a massive boost.

    As my name suggests
Sharp now signed a 3.5 year deal for undisclosed sum (thought to be £2m) Leicester were in for him with wages of £28K per week. Southampton are not paying anywhere near that.

I am now reliably informed that Lambert and Lallana are on £15K per week. Sharp will be within that range.

Hooper was never within Southamptons price range both on fee and wages.

Source? You maybe thinking Stokes? I actually worried about something like this when we had two trialists in right after signing Brozek.
