It all stopped when we got a set of prawn sandwich shitebags as some of our fans especially the board in which will divide our support.

Not entirely true mate....i am rarely seen at CP these days......due to a falling out with those who deal with Season Tickets at CP, although i am thinking of going back now the need is greater.

When I was young free and single I didn't miss a game in Britain for 8 years.

Four kids, cat, dog and mortgage sure sorts out the priorities.

I have never ever felt like I was less of a fan. As I said, its way of life and the football is just a bi-product of being a Celtic fan. I remember when I was a wee boy making sure I opened doors for old ladies and gave my seat up on buses....all because I wanted people to notice that I was a Celtic fan.....I love Celtic and always will no matter where I am.

Do you have jsut the URL?
No doubt it would be amazing, but I started going in 97 and as much as you did hear some rebel songs, it was no as much as it is now.
Again, I'd like clarification from the powers that be. I love a good song of hope and freedom (but only if it doesnt' get the fans shafted with Celtic fines and bans):50:

Class. I mind actually seeing that a few weeks ago in a video thread.
Soldiers song is allowed according to the daily ranger. Nothing wrong with your:50: national anthem. If there was one thing I really am jealous of the Irish is thier national anthem. It's amazing.

I remember those days in the Jungle well. I wish every Celtic fan had the chance to feel the hair on the back of their necks rise as we belted out all the songs. .....Although a fortnight in Barlinnie would have been the result these days.......

well done celtic fc for splitting your fans in half.

this has been coming from the whole green brigade scenarios over the years and then the poppy thing then now the songs and chanting pollava.

it seems to me that the board of our club are quite content for the fans to take pelters from numerous corners of press, government and police.

tbh it doesnt bother me if people agree with some of the songs some of the supporters sing or not. my point is

celtic fc have allowed these songs to be sung for years and years, as a jest of history (which i think it is). just because they (the) have now changed there mind all of a sudden doesnt make those who continue todo thugs/minority/embarassment etc etc. allowing all support to point fingers at each other is embarassing celtic!

There is a lot of backbiting going on amongst the Celtic family over this issue no doubt about it. The MSM are putting into print that supporters groups like The Green Brigade they are nothing but scum in their opinion and should be brought to book. If there is an issue the GB want to highlight it should be well thought through before making it heard or seen. Is there a structure to these groups who says what is ok and what is not do they think through the possible ramifications of any action they want to take do they plan in advance do they consult with anyone at the club and come to some sort of agreement or is it just a bunch of fans who make decisions on a whim just because they see it as their right to do so. Now some may say that is being PC and over the top well lets see what happens in response to the banner in Italy mid-week.

That is one part of the debate that I don't like... Disbanding the GB. Every time I'm at Celtic park they are magnificent. And they themselves try to weed out any of the dodgy elements at the ground. :50:

    I obviously don't or I wouldn't be asking.

If it is what Jeannie says it is then I couldn't give a monkeys fart what the main stream media has to say.

I just dont see it the way some others do but if that what it takes to stop us being lumped into the same boat as the SOW then yes.
