Can't wait. Always a bonus having the game before too.

The Wolfe tones aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be imo.

Was at the gig last night.

Must say, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfetones put on a much better gig.

Still a cracking day & night though

Enjoyed it but was annoyed by the fact that only half the sounds worked. Too quiet. Not the best I've seen them but great night. Tommy is by far the best singer.

They're called Kraken mate, i recognised three of the lads from Santa Ponsa as you might have heard him mention. Went to see them nearly every night we were there they're cracking :50: Pardon the pun :icon_mrgreen:

I would love to have been there. I saw them at the Plaza in 1996, they were fantastic.

That night me and my mate smuggled in a wad of single skinner joints in a wee plastic game boy cartridge tub, we didn't need to do that because while waiting for the flute band to come out I was sitting drinking a beer and a guy sat next to me and started skinning up.

Our other mate who is a Celtic season ticket holder took us up and when he saw the crowd outside queuing up he looked like he was going to cry because of what he was missing. Turned out he could have paid at the door.

I was a bit * off when the lassie took my ticket and handed me back the stub instead of giving me back the ticket and keeping the stub. I thought: Well seen it's an Irish band I've come to see...:56:

I think 1996 was the last year they were able to play at the Plaza before it shut. Didn't The Fields Of Athenry sound beautiful played by the flute. Brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. The flute band who came out first were amazing, I think they were called Saoirse.
