    I too worked full time and then went back. Only through my first semester, but it's been great. I'd take uni every day of the week. I'm working on campus, too, so it ain't bad. Probably will do my masters, as well, while I'm at it, so I can land a nice gig.

    I can't actually take things in in a lecture. I just sit there for an hour blankly and if someone was to ask me after it what it was covering I wouldn't have a breeze. Its only when i start reading and writing the stuff down myself itll make any sense.That's why I barely go to them anymore unless theyre sign in. Rather spend time in the library getting work done myself.

    I know someone who did first year Law last year and didn't go to a single lecture and still passed convincingly.

    On my courses it all seems to come at the same * time. Get 4 weeks of * all and then suddenly two weeks of coursework and exams. I hate it being like that. Cant get motivated when it comes round.

    I've had a 3 hour lecture every Monday for the past 3 months on Health and Safety practices/law at work(even saying it makes me yawn) and I honestly have learned nothing. It's alot to do with the lecturer, I have no interest in listening to him, only every now and then will he grab my attention.

    Like you, I looked at it the other week myself at home and I learned more in an hour of revision teaching myself.

    Now coming up to the christmas break my coursework is piling up and I'm * it:56:

    Aye chill out boys uni is easy these days. Very few intelligent people go.

    Just make sure you enjoy yourself, meet new folks and if you learn a thing or 2 then bonus.

    Mines is similar, in 4 but the hours are stupid, especially for me travelling from just outside Edinburgh every day.

    There will be plenty of deliberate alarm clock failures.

    Worst thing is timings, Wednesday 9am and Friday finish at 5 so the trains will be heaving. Tuesday I'll either start at 9am or finish at 5 also

    Monday, Wednesday and Friday I only have one hours worth of stuff to do which sounds great but in terms of wanting to actually get up and go one lecture doesn't seem worth it.
