Douglas has got to go, how many times did he come out for a ball yesterday and * fluff it ? There was one particular incident where he come out shouting for the ball and let it slip through his hands, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. He's not a bad shotstopper but whenever he comes out of his box, you hold your breath, this kind of stuff cannot instill any confidence in the back line whatsoever as much as I like big Rab and all, the bottom line is he's *, get him off to Leicester.

This man couldn't catch a ball to save his life. Did he actually come out and catch a ball successfully yesterday? The sooner he goes the better, MON has even admitted he won't be first choice keeper next season.

    I will never forget.

See a while ago his record was actually better than Marshalls, he had conceded far fewer goal than Marshall, does anyone know if this is still the case?

Also, how can MON say that Marshall is next seasons no.1 choice and then in the most important games of the season not play him??? :eek1:

I know he says experience is the cause, but ffs we have had more experience of seeing Douglas * up than the amount of games Douglas has under his belt.

Take him back to Dundee someone...please!

( but i am never very confident with marshy between the sticks either)

As I have said many times before, he is like Dracula, he hates crosses :p

Thankfully with this "money investement" we will be able to spend some money on getting a new keeper in the summer, who are your suggestions?

Nope me neither, IMO Celtic need a good quality experienced keeper, I don't know if they could get one on a Bosman perhaps although hopefully if this 15m business is true then we can buy one, there's plenty of decent keepers floating around in the 1st and 2nd divisions in England.

I would advise MON NOT to choose a new keeper, let someone else decide.

Just get us a new one!!

The Celtic song, fields of athenry&ull never walk alone,i love them all,lol
talk about butter fingers! he cant catch at all, then hes scrambling about the place searching for the ball, lol! i prefer marshall to douglas, even tho i can be nervous way him in goals too,but i def prefer him. but basically we need a new flipping keeper&a really top class one! whether we'll get one or not is another matter, lol.

Dean Kiely from Charlton is a not bad keeper and Paddy Kenny from Sheffield United. Seen them both put on some good displays this season

Cudicini anybody? He's not getting a game, we can give him CL football, wages (as usual) would be a problem but he's a class keeper.

Paddy Kenny's defo useful, and with a name like that he's clearly a tim...

Marshall needs games under his belt and confidence will grow. He will end up the new Packy Bonner at CP. It is time for consistency between the sticks rather than lottery.

How many tubes have we put up with? Anyone remember Andrews ffs?
