He was in a 3 tonight as well, his nervy distribution (not just once) was ridiculous..

 

He needs dropped give Kayal a run in the side .

His position was ridiculous. His passing was awful but he was never in any sort of position to control the game like he was clearly told to, the full midfield was set up * awfully. Mulgrew suffered for it, he was gash, no doubt but Deila needs to sort his midfield out pronto.

The guy is absolutely dire- he should be nowhere near the team.

 

Deila didn't throw him under any bus. He did that all by himself. His distribution was horrific. He should have been hooked at half time. He can't play in a midfield two as he isn't mobile enough, but he had both Brown & Johansen in front of him tonight. I'm not sure how you can come to the conclusion Dev that Deila threw him under the bus.

 

If he's the anchor in a 3 he should be dropping deep towards the 2 cbs to provide cover for the full backs and also to start most of our moved while keeping ball retention, cause he can't play in a 2 man cm as he's slower than me tbh

 

If anything its players like Mulgrew who have thrown Delia under the bus they whole Season

Mulgrew has never been anywhere near anything like a great celtic player but the one thing you could always rely on him was a wand of a left foot that created goals from set plays and corners.

Why isn't he doing this anymore?

I would maybe understand but instead we have * players lobing * balls way beyond the back post or straight into the keepers arms.

I don't agree that Deila threw him under a bus at ll, but we certainly aint playing to his best attributes, that's for sure.

 

Funny how under Strachan and Lenny in the same midfield next to the same player he's smashing eh? Put down to coincedence that Deila's shoddy midfield instructions are effecting his and our play negatively.

Not the greatest show, but some folks need to get a grip. Moaning about Ronny at every turn. We're people expecting us to steamroller this mob? No easy games I Europe. Even going back to the O'Neill era, we've always struggled at home against the supposed 'wiping boys'.

Also Ronny, got all three subs spot on. Team lacked pace..Brought on Wakaso, Tonev & removed this imposter for Kayal. & it worked.

 

Dev in ur opinion he was "smashing". He's been * for years now in Europe in mine.

 

Fair enough, no surprise that his best game this year has been against Germany though. Under a manager who knows how to structure a team.

 

What a lot of pish Dev, Mulgrew was chronic and it had * all to do with Ronny's tactics. He was criminally slow to so many balls tonight.

That being said. the weak link was Scepovic, he is several levels below Guidetti, no link up whatsoever.

I'd lose the next 3 EL games if it meant we signed Guidetti full time.
