    He looks sharp, quick and dangerous. Should defo get the nod ahead of sammy murph and mccourt. I honestly believe he is really under rated and people just write him off because of how much hes been injured.

    Please NO he is done and finished should be sold before the windae shuts along with some others. Which would give us some money for fresh faces.

    what makes u say hes finished? ive seen nothing but good things from him since he started playing for us again. Fine hes been injured a few times but every player gets injured during their career.

    As you stated he has been injured a few times . More times than he is fit !

    He will never get the nod ahead of Hooper or Stokesy to play up front and based on that means he is at best 3rd choice as you point out. I for one would rather have a big CF that can out muscle the opposing defenders and at the very least push the other 2 into performing week in week out.

    3 wee guys to pick from is very predictable .... I know we have Sammy but I mean a big CF with guts :84:

    Also I am old school he left and we should never bring players back that leave the Hoops .. My opinion

    Jeez when Sammy plays the way he did against the huns in the 2-0 game he is a class act as well.

    I personaly have not seen anything from Maloney to suggest he is worth a run in the team and again he will never ever be close to first choice ahead of Hooper and Stokes.

    I'd rather sit in a room with sammybobo with him telling me how pish Celtic are for 90 minutes than see Maloney playing again for Celtic :56:

    I think he's an excellent option to have, if I was confident he'd stay fit i'd love to see him get more game time. His quick feet & turn of pace give defenders fits.

    Just a shame his hamstrings are made of liquerish & his ankles of butter.

    Oh my * ive read some rubbish on this forum but this is got to be right up there , maloney is dire , made of glass , he'll be injured in a few weeks , best getting him transferred before hes on the injury table again.

    Thought him and Forrest brought some much needed urgency to the play tonight. Maloney won us a few free kicks and got us one of our only shots on target.

    our third choice striker needs to be an effective target man. we don't have that at the minute. Maloney certainly isn't it.
